Hotel Pambuffetti is a lovely family hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre of the quiet pretty town of Montefalco, which has stunning views of the beautiful countryside surrounding it. The proprietor, Alessandra, is a very good cook/chef who prepares the fine dinners we ate there every night of our eleven night stay. The local Montefalco wine was... More

Nice small scale hotel (15 rooms I believe), family run. Very charming place, with nice appropriate furnishing. Rooms are decorated in the same style. Only negative point is the shower : very difficult to manage the temperature with the old fashioned water taps, and admit, those fluffy shower curtains that come sticking to your body when the water flows (the... This is a family run establishment that was built around a converted Villa. The hotel itself was charming and peaceful. It was a little too cold for the pool but it looked like a great place to relax in the summer. Montefalco was a short walk up a hill behind the property that had small shops, restaurants, and nice views.... More

This is a lovely manor home which has been converted to a hotel. The rooms are quite comfortable. The common areas are cozy. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious. It is a short walk into the village, just outside the walls. It was the perfect place to start our walk to Assisi.

My wife and I stayed at Villa Pambuffetti for 10 days. It was probably the best holiday we have ever had in 40 years of marriage. Nothing was too much trouble, excellent food, super pool, lovely rooms, car hire arranged, places to visit suggested, wonderful staff, who had no trouble in recommending places to eat and things to see for... Hotel Villa Pambuffetti has been in the same family for many generations. The rooms all have comfortable beds and some have family antiques. There is a pool and access to many hiking and cycling opportunities around Montefalco. Alessandra, the owner is also a master chef so the food and service are excellent in this charming small village. Montefalco is accessible... More

We stayed here for four nights at the end of September. On arrival, I don't think we were sure about the villa, but over the four days we grew to really like it. We were really made to feel at home by the owners Alessandra and Mauro. The Villa is surrounded by tall trees. So on arrival on a rather... More

This place looks great on the website but in reality it is tried and somewhat grubby. The furnishing, fitting and food all need a make over and a good clean. The gardens are neglected and the pool area was very messy and the pool not very clean with debris in the bottom. A new look and a visit from a... More
