My husband, boys and I (3 boys 5, 5 & 7) stayed here in peak summer season July-August 2016 for 2 weeks. This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay with a fabulous location- close to everything you want to do in Tuscany. The multi-level pool (one for infants, one for kids and a deep pool) were indeed the highlight...

Borgo La Casaccia is Tuscan countryside place, suitable if you want to visit Tuscany from inside ( vineyards and nature) not just to visit famous historical places. House is very clean and well equipped. Probably it wouldn't be interesting in a winter time but in other time of the year (spring, summer and autumn) would be prefect. Not so easy,...

Relaxing and estimulating. Peace and joy. Freedom to enjoy your food, your wine, your beer.. with all utilities to do it. Cleaniness of apartements and common spaces (garden, swimming pool,...). Kindness of staff, who is available all time, make proposals of leisure, but respectfull with your space.. In summary, a perfect place for your holidays!

The place is just too perfect to be true. I do know that it is typical for Tuscany but still I was so amazed when I saw it. Francesco waited for our late arrival and showed us around telling about the history of the place. It was really nice of him. We had apartament Chianti Rufina- dining room with a...

Thank you so much for your review and I'm so happy you loved the place! About the water the municipality "stopped" it for 1 hr around, during your stay, but then the water should be "re-start" again! You had to tell reception about this little problems, because sometimes there are really simple things to do such as move or push...

From the 18th untill the 25th of May 2013 we stayed in the Chianti Rufina apartment which is suitable for 4 persons. The location is very beautiful with a view on the Tuscany landscape while relaxing at the pool or opening your window. Fransesco welcomed us and told something about the history of the place. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Borgo La Casaccia, renovated 01/2011, born from a medieval village, It is composed of 12 apartments which retain the original architecture of the 17th century, with the ceiling consists of wooden beams and florentine terra-cotta floors. All apartments are equipped with private bathroom, full kitchen and free Wi-Fi. In this way it's possible to enjoy both charm of History and modern features. La Casaccia is surrounded by a garden of 4600 sq.mt. with the characteristic plants of the Mediterranean: Olive, Oak, Rosemary, Strawberry Mimosa, Broom, etc. ..  In the garden there are two pools: the biggest of 25x5 meters (depth from 1 meter to 2.20 meters) and the smallest of 15x5 meters with separate area for children (depth: 1 m/50 cm ) The garden is completed by gazebo, tables, chairs, umbrellas, barbecue and a small play area for children.  About the location it is important to know that Borgo La Casaccia is only 1 km far from the center of Montaione (with bar / cafe, shops, local products etc. ..), and this ensures the proximity to supermarkets, restaurants and all necessary amenities.
