The bed was like sleeping in a hammock in fact a hammock would have been better. Roaches, cable was out, ceiling caving in, shower and bedding was gross. Worst motel I've ever been too and I've been to some rough motels on accident. I wouldn’t want prisoners to stay in this place and i had to pay for it.

Filthiest hotel ever. Dead bugs in bathroom, live ones on walls near beds. Requested another room, none available. did not send housekeeping to our room. Slept in our clothes on top of the bedspread, using our own pillows. Left without using the disgusting shower. Noisy parking lot. I would not put my dog in this place if it were a kennel.

Was in town for work and could not have asked for a better rate! The beds were comfortable, the staff was quick and friendly and they have coffee available in the lobby. Basic hotel but a great rate. If we have work in Richmond again we will be staying with Regency Inn.

We booked to stay two nights at the Regency Inn as the location looked good. Unfortunately, the room we were given was dirty (smelled of cigarette smoke and had burn holes in the comforters). I did not feel safe staying here with a small child, and booked somewhere else in Richmond. I hoped to be refunded for the second night (I understood if they couldn't refund us for the first since we had already checked in), but after 5 phone calls looking for the manager (and never getting him), I gave up. Really disappointed as I would prefer to stay in an independent hotel like this instead of a big chain. All that being said, the staff were very courteous.
