My wife and I spent three nights at the Grace Manor Inn. Everything, from the welcome by Dawn and Albert, the innkeepers, to the breakfasts and the accomodations, was absolutely perfect. We were among the last guests of Grace Manor Inn, as Dawn and Albert are starting a new venture in Belize. I realize that this review is therefore a... More

My wife and I celebrated our 36th anniversary in Richmond by staying in the Shortt Suite on one of the last nights the Grace Manor Inn was open. The entire Inn is tastefully appointed and the service as provided by Albert, the proprietor, was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious and expertly prepared. The pool provided a relaxing area for a... More

Lovely suite on the third floor, which was tough on my wife's knees. Should have selected room on second floor. Spacious sitting room and bedroom. No window shades got us up earlier than we are used to with morning sun flooding the room. The innkeepers could not have any more courteous or gracious. For a large person, shower stall was... More

The name of the place fits the host. Accommodating, friendly and a prepared an unusual but very tasty 3 course breakfast including Mimosas. We took the Carriage house apartment from the main house because we wanted a private bath. Big mistake! It's upstairs and it's DIRTY. The main house looks great and probably clean but the carriage house needs some... More

My husband and I stayed here for our 5th anniversary and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was close to what we wanted to see and do in Richmond (historical sites, shopping, restaurants) and the house was filled with old-fashioned charm. We had a bedroom, sitting room, and private bath room, all of which were pleasantly decorated. The breakfasts... More

We spent two nights at the Grace Manor Inn and this B&B and Richmond itself were the highlight of our trip. The house is gorgeous - the pictures don't do it justice. There are several sitting areas. The rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated. The owners are kind and make a delicious breakfast. The coffee was SO good. There is... More

Very beautiful house and neighborhood! We enjoyed meeting the couple who runs the B&B, along with their 3 cute yorkies. The house is large and historic, including original architecture and historical details. We felt at home and really liked the quiet atmosphere of the house. The food, which was served as a 3-course breakfast on both mornings, was really fun... More

My husband and I had a fine one-night stay at the Grace Manor Inn. Our third-floor suite was spacious and comfortable and was nicely cooled by a ceiling fan on a steamy day. Common areas are beautiful, and we loved sitting by the outdoor pool (yes!) in the lovely yard, watching cardinals at the bird bath and just mellowing out.... More

Great location. Albert the innkeeper is very friendly and he and his wife are great cooks and hosts. If you visit Richmond and are looking for a great b&b, this is it. 100+ year old house, exceptionally well maintained. Wonderful garden/pool area, although a little chilly to use the pool when we were there. Stayed in the Shortt suite, which... More

We had such a nice time here. The living and sitting rooms retain the original 1920s woodwork and beautiful fireplaces, and are comfortably arranged. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, not elegant but comfortable as if they've been really live in. Bathrooms can be drafty and showers prickly. Accomodations in the carriage house are newer and don't have the character of... More
