This hotel was exactly what i expected. The room was clean and customer service was exceptional. It was more convenient location from highways and close by the Richmond downtown area. Also resturants were close enough too.

I am currently staying at 241 Arboretum place Extended Stay hotel. The hotel has an disgusting order. There are people who live here that smoke weed on a daily basis. The The hotel rooms needs alot of upgrades, such as new carpet, new bathroom doors, new mattresses, it feels like you sleeping on a bed of rocks. The walls need to be painted, there are cracks in the walls and big holes in the walls, the microwave is too small and very old.there is no dishwasher or oven. The room overall is too small. I paid alot if money to stay here. This hotel did not meet my expectations at all. This hotel is the equivalent to staying in a $40 or $50 motel. It's a dump. Please if you want to safe and secure and want to feel like you are receiving the customer service and treated like a king or queen do not stay here. Even if it's for one night. It's not worth it. You will be disappointed and hurt. This location needs to shut down immediately or new owners need to brought in to upgrade this place. I would give this hotel a 1 star rating. Worst place ever.

This staff was basic, they were Not wearing their mask over their nose or just not at all. The elevators and hallways smelled like someone was smoking weed for the whole time we were there. There were signs posted everywhere that this was a non smoking hotel, our hotel room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The box spring on one of the beds was gross but it wasn’t covered with a sheet so maybe they always are? The furniture in the room was all shabby like it came from another hotel that upgraded their furniture. The office chair at the desk had some kind of white stains all over it. The kitchen appliances were dated. The back of the bathroom door needs scrubbed and whoever stayed in the room before us, they had shaved their face at the sink and I found hairs on the bathroom counter That were Definitely not ours, there were also hairs that were woven into the “clean towels”. This place was terrible and not worth $100 a night stay once you add tax. We actually chose this over a Super 8 ($64) one down the road but we might have been better off staying there. I will never stay at a Extended Stay Suites again. I’m still nauseous from the smell and we already left.
