What a beautiful tucked away venue very close to the city of Richmond Va I attended a perfect 50 year wedding anniversary party there and was so impressed with the mansion, grounds and staff! The grounds and mansion are spectacular. TWO thumbs up, WAY up!

If you are looking to stay at a very special place in the Richmond area, you will find this Bed and Breakfast to be so exquisitely romantic that whoever is with you will love you forever. At 83 and as part of a business trip, I hadn't intended to think about it, but I must confess in my fantasy life,... More

I was at a wedding this weekend and "WOW" what a place to have a beautiful wedding. I have been to many different wedding venues but Mankin Mansion is just fabulous. The owner has a great staff and the wedding is run like a fine tuned watch. Everything is on time and things are in there place. These guys know... More

We attended the wedding reception of a dear friend at Mankin Mansion. What a beautiful location. The brickwork was amazing; home, walls, walkways; and the grounds were perfectly manicured. The huge tent with strings of lights and chandeliers was a virtual "fairyland." The mansion is beautifully decorated and the staff friendly and helpful.

We just attended a wedding here. Beautiful grounds, excellent food, friendly staff. The only negative was the lack of bathrooms. 3 for a wedding of 150 people - Yikes !!! - lots of waiting in line. We have more bathrooms for a family of four

Can't say enough about these folks. The venue is superb, these folks know how to run a wedding. They are real pros. If you needed something, it was taken care of immediately. Multiple comments from our guests only reinforced my opinion. Many said that this was the best wedding venue they had ever been to, and a couple of them... More

My (now) husband and I redeemed a certificate for Mankin during Nov 2011. Though we were not paying them anything, service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious, we still have our bottle of wine, and the game room was fun to pop popcorn and play pool. That weekend was during the low season, and they didn't have a wedding going on,... Mankin Mansion has historic charm with modern ammenities. The bedding was amazing, the cottage was immaculately clean and the breakfast each day was delicious. We were so impressed with the attention to detail. When we arrived there was this amazing jazz love songs CD playing which we enjoyed so much we only watched TV once for a brief time. If... More

Thanks for making our wedding special and complete with every detail covered and well-managed so that we could just enjoy our wedding and our guests. Beautiful venue, great service, and exceptional professionalism by you and your staff. We know there was a lot of work behind the scenes that was totally invisible to us that made everything come off flawlessly.... More
