Friends picked this hotel based on proximity to other downtown attractions. I'm more a fan of modern luxury. The bathroom is updated but any building that is older is going to have a smell no matter how many times you slap a fresh coat of paint on it. Also you have to unplug the loud mini fridge if you're not...

My wife and I stayed at the Linden Road in while attending a wedding in Richmond. This day started under a cloud as we had changed our reservation by telephone from two days to one over a month ago and when we arrived found our reservation and cancel because we had not shown up the first night. However the woman...

This historic hotel is very grand from the outside and some of the staff are very friendly. Don't stay in a garden room as they are very small and don't look like the photo on their web site, yet they are hardly cheap by general accommodation standards. We booked 2 of these rooms and the air conditioning was so loud...

We were here for a wedding which was held two blocks away. Our room was very spacious and charming with comfortable bedding and a huge closet for getting luggage and clothes out of the way. There was also a spacious, modern bathroom, but it was freezing cold in January. The room was nice and toasty, but we never could get...

I got married recently and we rented the bridal suite to get ready - it was absolutely lovely - perfect for getting ready photos. The hotel is charming and my guests all loved their rooms at Linden Row. The sales manager is wonderful and all the front desk staff are nice and helpful. If you're into charming, historic buildings, decorated...

We always stay at the Linden Row while travelling through Richmond...no reason to stay anywhere else. It is convenient to restaurants, the staff is very personable and accommodating and the rooms are spacious. Price is reasonable, nice breakfast and a free shuttle service to anywhere within a few miles of the hotel. You can also get beer and wine at...

I was down in Richmond for a fencing tournament, and a group of us generally travel together. I chose Linden Row in collaboration with a friend, because one of our group had a hard time with the uphill walk to the convention center last April. I reserved two rooms, one with 2 double beds, and one with a queen bed...

This hotel was centrally and conveniently located to traveling to both the restaurants downtown as well as to the VCU hospital. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The room itself was comfortable, but as others have mentioned, you are able to hear noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway. This was not a big issue during the night,...

redoing eating facilities, but many good places close and shuttle available. Bed comfortable and temperature control better than normal. Room clean and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms a little bigger than average with central air conditioning. Area is reasonable quiet so you can sleep. Neighborhood is on way up with shops and apartment conversions.

My husband And I Spent my birthday weekend in Richmond. The location of this hotel was great for walking to get dinner and cocktails. The building is full of historic charm. The morning staff was super kind and friendly. However the evening staff acted like they had been there way too long. Decent continental breakfast was served. Very kind gentleman...
