I had a great business stay at the Berkeley in March 2023. I was there for 4 nights. The location is perfect, perhaps the best in the city. The staff was very courteous, especially the Guest Services Manager Chris who helped me get my car each morning, on time for work. I would like to see them improve their breakfast offering, not many hot food options so I ended up getting breakfast elsewhere each morning. There is no gym either which is unfortunate but clearly stated on the booking. I would recommend this hotel and will likely stay here again.

I was greeted upn my very early arrival by Chris, Guest Services Manager, who parked my car and answered all questions about walkable food and art. He paid attention to me and read perfectly what I was looking for - and then delivered information in a very friendly and open manner. The recommendations were perfect. I think my dinner at Native Plate was one of the best meals that I've ever eaten - maybe I'll review them too! Everyone that I met at the hotel - two different guest clerks, a manager, the housekeeper, and Chris - were warm and welcoming. The only small negative was their continental breakfast. The coffee was good but that was the only thing that I even considered putting in my mouth. I'll return for sure.

My stay was very good, got to handle my business and stay at the Berkeley which was walking distance from my destination. The people that works there(Chris,Starlett,Noah) made my stay enjoyable. The Breakfast was OK(could be better) but there is restaurants also walking distance from the hotel so it wasn’t a big deal.

Room was spacious and clean. Nice terrace. Great location- close by nice restaurants and bars. Friendly staff at front desk and valet. Chris, guest services manager was wonderful! This was just a one night stopover but would like to return and take advantage of outside activities.

The Berkeley hotel is in a great location. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. And all the staff members were so helpful. Chris, the client services manager, made sure everything was perfect. He was the valet and made sure we had ice water with breakfast. There was a smile on everybody’s face.

Great location, all else very marginal. Bath towels need to be replaced (ones we had were old and flat with noticeable ragged threads on the sides). Room had one bar of soap (usually there is a bath bar and a hand soap bar) and the robe that is advertised offers one per room (we had another sent to us but, really, for 2 guests??). The "continental breakfast" was a joke (toast and mystery breakfast muffins without labels) and the first morning they ran out of everything by 9am (advertised until 10am, lame!). Asked for wine glasses at the desk and were given two plastic disposable ones (!?) Although the bar wasn't in working order we found two real wine glasses there and used them for our stay. This hotel has no amenities, would not recommend.

Our apologies on your experience Diane. As you can see from the other reviews, your experience was not the norm. As we do not yet have a restaurant or bar, for sanitization reasons the glasses provided are disposable wine glasses. However we do have traditional wine glasses if asked. Please note there was a time change Sunday morning. Breakfast was stocked and ran to 10am as usual. I do hope you give us another chance. If so, please contact me directly so I may ensure your next stay is perfect!

My recent stay at the Berkeley Hotel was very good. Chris the guest services manager was very pleasant, as soon as we pulled up he greeted us right away and helped with our luggage and valet park our vehicle. The Berkeley hotel is a great place to stay it is convenient to get to from the highway and also it has plenty of places to eat nearby.

On our way South the Berkeley Hotel is in an excellent location with high convenience to get on and off the highway. Noah greeted us on arrival and was so helpful and Chris the Guest Service Manager was very accommodating suggesting a breakfast spot. I highly recommend this hotel for convenience, cleanliness and friendly staff. Southern hospitality !
