The Delphina Hotel Group pulled a bait and switch promising a beach front room 100m from the water with spacious rooms. At $2000 per day for our family, we could have stayed at theFour Seasons, St. Regis, AmanResorts or many others. Instead, our "beachfront room" was at least 1 mile from the water and looked more like a Motel 6... More

I am amazed that this hotel has been rated 5 star: 1. The service was poor. The air-conditioning in our room (which I must say was very luxurious) was not working. It took more than a day for an engineer to arrive to rectify the fault. 2. The orange juice served a breakfast was concentrate. It is outrageous and utterly... More

Dear Guest, first of all I would like to thank you for your comments regarding the Resort and the rooms and I would like to take this opportunity once again to offer you my apologies for the situation with the air conditioner. Unfortunately, the computer belonging to the engineer who came to your suite to solve the problem twice failed... More

I cannot recommend this resort enough. The location is perfect - incredibly scenic and beautiful setting. The resort does a wonderful job capitalizing on the fantastic setting. The pools are great and never too crowded. The small private beaches are very nice and the public beach (Licciola) is awesome. Valle Dell'Erica has a private section on the public beach with... I like modern style hotels, so I didn't like this village like hotel. The rooms felt like our house in village - not the thing you would expect from 5 star hotel. The WiFi was terrible, it took me 2 days to find good WiFi spots. The area is huge, and the only way to go around is to pick... More

We spent 2 weeks in the hotel Valle dell'Erica and booked the suite in the Licciola which is the more modern part of the resort. Check-in was easy and the room was very nice. The suite consists of a bedroom and a living room as well as two bathrooms. The room was spotless and modern but in a cozy way.... More

Overall, while this hotel in a very good location and offers good quality food, it has poorly maintained infrastructure, poor rooms quality and guest amenities. We stayed at La Licciola, the relatively new section of this hotel. PROs: - Location: across the Maddalena archipelago, the views on the sea from common hotel areas is very nice and small beaches of... More

Loved it. Especially the staff were super friendly and professional. We liked the resort is spread out, the only downside is there are lots of children for those who dont want them. Food was good and plentiful. Its is not cheap but reasonably good value for what you get. Only real gripe was with crazy bathroom light that shines in... More

This hotel is huge, it is two hotels split over the resort where guests can use facilities at both. La Licciola is a more spacious & luxurious whereas Erica is more Mediterranean. I preferred the rooms at Liccola as they were more modern. However we stayed in a standard room In Erica which was quite basic. There are many pools... More

Just returned from our 10 night stay at the Valle dell Erica chilled and tanned. On our arrival we were greeted by a member of staff from reception who checked us in offered us a drink and presented us with a map of the resort. She pointed out our room and all the eating places etc near by. We were... More

This is a lovely resort in a beautiful location. We stayed in Erica Classic rooms, and although we hadn’t booked adjoining or a Classic room for our teenage children they were upgraded on arrival, and it was quite useful to have them next door. The Licciola rooms do look a little more modern from what we saw, but the whole... More
