With our travel plans severely compromised by the pandemic, we decided to return to familiar territory to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We chose The Crossroads Inn because of the roomy Carriage House set off from the main house. Although we missed the delight of breakfast, everything else about this B&B was just wonderful. In Johnson City, we were close to 2 state parks that we enjoyed and found great little places to eat breakfast and dinner while feeling safe through masks and social distancing. The opportunity to sit at the little table and chairs right outside our door made us feel like we were at a retreat from all the cares in the troubled world. The grounds are lovely with big trees, flowering bushes and of course, wandering chickens and the goats in their pasture. We will be back again.

Excellent place to stay in Johnson City. We stayed in Lavender cottage. It was really nice. It has a second bed in the main area so this. would be great for families. Very clean with a nice setup. Everything worked and we loved the grounds. Has a great "away from it all" feel. After a day at wineries we sat on the porch and relaxed. There is also a fire pit area and a picnic table area if you are with a group. If you are doing activities in the Stonewall and Hye area this is a great place. Would definitely stay here again.

Hi my girlfriend and have stayed at the crossroads twice now ! It has become our little destination for a get away. Kristen has been amazing ! We checked in late one night and we went looking for dinner in town lucky for us the Mexican restaurant was open. But when we got back Kristen had came and offered to heat us up some of here own food if we had not found anything. We were blowed away by here generosity and taking time to think of us. Just shows how much she really cares about here guests. This is definitely the place to go for a recharge. Quite beautiful place in the country. We will be coming back for years to come!!!

Thanks so much for your kind review! You two are such fun! I will never forget how you turned up at the inn the first time, happy, and soaking wet from playing in the river all day. I hope to see you both again soon, and next time bring your dog Blue - so he can play with Einstein!

Quite and a perfect hill country get away! This will be one of our favorites, and Johnson city is also a great place to visit, lots of Texas charm💛

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. We had originally booked for Octoberfest 2019. We had to reschedule due to an auto accident. The host was incredibly gracious and offered us the ability to re-book within the year. We booked this as a COVID getaway as TX had opened up a bit. We had a great dinner in town and enjoy drinks on the porch afterward. We loved the property and the room. The owner was so friendly and had great advice on attractions and places to go. Breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. It was a very short walking distance to town for shopping, bars, restaurants... we will be going back for sure!
