What a great place... A very authentic setting with a rich architecture and all kinds of cosy terraces and cosy corners. The service is excellent and the food very high quality. We will definitely come back.

Very nice location. However stairs everywhere so not for people having problems to move. For that price for night I would await WIFI working in rooms, not only at reception. Prices in restaurant extremely high, moreover is the restaurant opened only 2 hours in the evening. Air-Conditioning is loud, noise from other rooms Comes through walls.

This is an unusual and somewhat quirky large hotel on the Spanish hacienda style, covering an extensive area with many traditional art and craft items on display and in a beautiful setting in the middle of the Sardinian hills. It is in an isolated position so there are no alternative options for a drink or restaurants for many miles. It...

It is an interesting building with many places to explore. Good staff and they are helpful. Good rooms, ours had a 4 poster and lots of space as well as a really comfortable mattress. food good and views from the terrace restaurant were great.

This resort-style hotel is about the only 4-star hotel in the area. The superior bedroom was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, but very dark, as the trees overhanging the balcony had not been pruned at all. There were several large groups staying, which detracted from the idea of it being a luxury hotel. The entrance seemed to be always full...

Very helpful staff. Lovely food. You need a car to get here but a tranquil oasis for relaxation with fabulous countryside and views. Quite a lot of steps however if you are not v mobile. Nevertheless well worth the effort,

This was our most disappointing experience in a 9 day visit to Sardinia. I thought we would splurge on a night of luxury and great authentic food. Thank goodness we only booked for one night. Plenty of others have elaborated on the tiredness of the resort and I would definitely agree that this place has seen better days. It certainly...

Not your standard four star hotel. Some will be beguiled by the location, the art, the crafts, the traditional cuisine(huge portions), the open air cocktail bar (with breathtaking view of surrounding mountains) and the rustic charm of the buildings and gardens. Others however, will focus on the overgrown borders, lack of lift, number of steps, the areas in need of...

From the moment you walk onto the property, you really want to love this place. However, like so many of the recent reviewers, I must say that it's a combination of magic and disappointment. The concept of all the colors (art and flowers) captured the heart of Sardinia for me. The shower was amazing and the terrace with tub was...

Su Gologone is a very special hotel with very friendly staff and great displays of art and local crafts and costumes. We spent a week there in September 2016 and had a very good time. There is a tennis court as well as the pool, neither were being used much when we were there. You can book trips locally with guides...
