I booked for 24th October and when checking in, to my surprise I was told that you do not have any bookings, and then somehow I got my confirmation number, I was told due to some issues actual booking was done for 15th October, and we will see what can be done. Checked in and front desk told me, they are not sure why Customer care told about no booking, you actually have in System . By this time I was confused heavily. After check out, I thought everything must be sorted out and left , however I called customer care again and to my surprise I was told I have been charged for both 15th and 24th, what? and they will help me refund for 15th and will take 7 business days. I m honestly so confused and do not trust any statements, Extremely confused system or teams is what I learned.

I really wish I booked my stay at a different hotel, because this one is awful - dirty and ridiculously overpriced. Staying here for 3 nights and they charged a $450 deposit on a room I paid $425 for. To top things off, they have ZERO amenities during COVID. Yet, they have the same ludicrous prices and do nothing to compensate their guests for lack of amenities (and effort). PROS: Semi decent view from the balcony CONS: * Most overpriced hotel I have ever seen for the value. * I was charged a $450 deposit for a room I paid $430 for. * My balcony is riddled with marijuana joints * The towels in my room have brownish-yellow stains on them. * NO HOUSEKEEPING * NO restaurant * NO bar * NO food * NO alcohol (And get this, they don’t allow you to buy alcohol from a liquor store! LOL) * Overpriced parking at $42 in a completely empty garage. I don’t suggest anyone stay here, especially during covid. There’s so many other hotels in the city operating more efficiently and taking care of their guests. This place cares about your money, not your experience. Probably why they are empty. Hopefully they get new management soon.

I expected more from Hyatt during this stay - there was no attempt from the staff to communicate there would be no housekeeping service. No attempt to replenish any towels or other amenities. The occupancy was understandably low so it's difficult to understand why there was no effort to ensure guests felt welcome.

Thank you so much for staying with us at the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge and your honest feedback. I sincerely apologize that the limited service of housekeeping was going on due to Covid-19. To ensure the safety of our guests and team members, we are offering very limited services by request only. There are letters communicating this at the Front Desk and we will ensure this is addressed with our team. We are always available to deliver any requested items at any time of the day. We do hope you'll give us a second chance in the future! Kind regards, Alicia Bianco alicia.bianco@hyatt.com

It seems like hand sanitizer is placed within every 15 steps you take throughout the building, that mad me feel comfortable. Everyone had a mask one, staff and guest. You are not allowed to walk into or through the building without a mask. Hopefully you get a room with a great view, this was my only upset.
