Stayed here for a night in October, 2019. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Even though we missed wine hour, we were asked if we still wanted a glass and were given a voucher to use at the bar. Rooms were well decorated, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic in the morning. Plenty to choose from and all was delicious. If I could only figure out the coffee machine I would be in a better place. Staff assisted and coffee was good as well. If we find ourselves in Cambridge again, this hotel will be on the top of our list to stay again.

Stayed here a couple of nights on business. Prime location @ MIT and adjacent to the red line. Was an excellent experience from checkin to checkout. The room was one of their bottom tier Queen rooms, but was far nicer than many places I've stayed at a similar price. Despite being a historic hotel (which to me often means uncomfortable beds and rickety furnishings), the bed was very comfortable and over-equipped with a variety of pillows. While there is no built in closet, there was a cabinet with shelves and other furniture suitable for unpacking. The room was well arranged with the desk below a wall-mounted HDTV and the bed in a straight line so (if TV is your thing) it was nicely visible. Good variety of outlets on the desk with regular and tablet charger built in. Slightly nicer than average coffee-maker with a variety of teas. Plenty of light, unlike many hotels which seem to want to dim you to death. The bathroom shower produced a satisfying blast of water, with a showerhead sufficiently high for 6'+ men and heated quickly. Wifi is free and easy to set up. The free breakfast is a notch above what you'll get out of the typical chain restaurants with a choice between regular coffee and an automated espresso machine. Staff couldn't have been friendlier, even when checking out at 5 AM (tired, but friendly). The only very minor two issues were the speed of the elevator (I recommend the stairs) and the heat not being on in the room, and taking a couple of hours to get the room from 50-60 -> 70 degrees. As I said, very minor. Would happily stay here again any time!

Second stay at the Kendall Hotel. Such a treasure tucked away in Cambridge. Convenient and quiet. Comfortable and whimsical in style. Spotlessly clean. What really shines though is the stellar staff—all of them. But extra kudos to Mike, Gabby and Odair for making this hotel seem like home to us.

Only a short walk from the Red Line and two stops into the heart of Boston, this charming hotel met all our espectations, the complimentary wine every day at 5.00 was a chance to meet everybody. The room was well appointed but not a great deal of space for our three suitcases prior to boarding our cruise ship to Canada however we loved our stay and would recommend this hotel.

As a jumping off point for exploring Boston, I really appreciated the convenience of this hotel, a block-ish from the Kendall Red Line T-stop. The customer service was fantastic; the front desk people were wonderful to interact with. The rooms were well-done; personally I don't think the pictures that I've seen of this hotel do it justice. Very charming, nice personal touches everywhere, mixing the historical in with every day conveniences. The breakfast buffet was quality. The beds comfy. Very happy with our stay.
