The place is convenient because of proximity to business meetings but the place is in dire need of an update and remodel. It’s just not clean. The door knob to the closet fell off. Night shift basically gave me a mini crow bar to manage until morning team came. The air filtration doesn’t work and there is an odor as soon as you walk into the lobby.

Alexandra is excellent really treated us well great service and amazing hotel. Nice area and easy access to all. The area is clean and the lobby is really nice. The check in process was simple and quick.

So check in was perfect. Room is, blah. I like the water on each floor! But, seriously bad coffee, breakfast was horribly blah, as we were not taking public transport that didn’t impact us but we were with a large group that had an event at the hotel and it was a cluster*&^%. One of the three elevators was out and we all had to get to the 3rd floor. We waited FOREVER AND the staff could not direct us to stairs to get to our event. It is really a three star hotel dressed up to be more.

My stay here started off great. After flying in on a redeye from Los Angeles, and arriving at the hotel at 9 AM, I did not expect my room to be ready. I checked in and inquired about the business center where I planned to get a little work done until my room was ready. I was pleasantly surprised by the offer of a complimentary breakfast voucher. The breakfast options were top-notch, delicious, and very filling. Immediately after I finished, to my surprise (again), the front desk notified me that my room was ready. The cat nap I was able to take in my hotel room before my west coast meetings started on Zoom improved my day exponentially. My room (735) was comfortable, with a lovely view. The fitness center, while small, was accessible 24/7, however the scale was broken. The hotel offered water stations on each floor and a carafe in-room. Loved these investments in sustainability. The location was great - walking distance to MIT, the Charles River, and lots of bars and restaurants.…

Location is nice. Just off a bustling street with lots of restaurants. It’s also convenient to the T. However, we did encounter a few problems. Upon arrival, we were given a handicapped-accessible room. We neither requested nor wanted this room. The configuration of the room was strange and crowded because of things such as an IKEA-esque wardrobe next to the bed. The bed itself was low to the ground. The bathroom was huge, but had very little counter space. The shower, being accessible, had no way to contain any water, so after a shower, the entire floor was sopping wet! The only thing that made this bearable was that we did have daily maid service because we had to throw all the towels on the floor to make the bathroom usable. While these challenges weren’t insurmountable , the air conditioning was absolutely terrible. The fan only ran on low and we could never get the temperature to cool down enough. It was unpleasant. We did report this to the front desk, and they allegedly sent someone to fix it, but we did not notice any change. Also, when we arrived, we discovered that our bed had been made without any top sheet. The front desk provided us with one, and so we remade the bed. The third day, we were only given one wash cloth. But not everything was bad. The hotel has nice amenities from Malin and Goetz provided in the bathroom. There are also filtered water bottle filling stations on every floor which was a really nice addition we haven’t had at other hotels. Would I stay here again? Maybe if the price was right, but for what we paid, it should have been better.…

This is a nice hotel in the heart of Cambridge within walking distance of the T and several eating establishments. It has the feel of a slightly upscale hotel without the attitude of one. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The wifi signal in the room was strong. The staff was very helpful in giving us information about the area and one gentleman even explained to me how to purchase a T ticket. On our first night, we returned from Fenway Park in a rainstorm in need of a late meal. The bartender, despite working alone, was able to serve lots of people in a timely and courteous manner, and the steak sandwich I had was delicious. The hotel price was reasonable; the parking price was expensive, though that's probably the norm in the Boston area. The one thing missing would be a store with late-night snacks (candy, chips, etc.). Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area.…

Great location to visit MIT. Nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants. The T train/subway stop not far from the hotel. It made getting into Boston, visiting Harvard very easy. The beds were comfortable, shower very nice and housekeeping friendly.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Cambridge. Excellent service by the staff. Anas is a shining example of what the hospitality business should be. Dax was our bartender on the first night, in our wait person for breakfast the next day. This is a very hard working staff that deserves much recognition. We will definitely be staying here again when in the Cambridge area!!

It was a nice hotel with friendly staff. We got complimentary breakfast which had a decent range of food. The hotel is conveniently located and walking distance to Harvard and MIT. There are also good eating outlets around the hotel. Overall, it was a brief but pleasant stay.

This was a wonderful hotel for our visit. Our room was already available upon. A bit of an early arrival. We received friendly front desk service and had no problems with checking in. We found it to be clean and spacious. Everything was clean and provided a comfortable place each night. Close to MIT. We were able to get a car easily when going into Boston. Appreciated the cost compared to staying directly in Boston.
