Beautiful hotel in a quiet, nice town. You can easily visit the town on foot. You can best explore the rest of the region by car. Desenzano, Brescia, Salo, Sirmione, ... are easy to go to by car. Amusement parks like Gardaland or Leolandia are approx. 1 hour driving from the hotel. From the train station in Brescia or Desenzano... More

We stayed here in 2012 and it was fabulous. Then we spent another night here about a week ago and once again just loved it. But last night we stayed again and couldn't believe how awful it was. Maybe it is just room 208. It is nowhere near as nice or well equipped as the other two rooms we have... More

Beautiful hotel in rustic Italian villa! Very kind hosts and wonderful rooms. The pictures doesn't do it justice ! Would definitely recommend it. There are few amenities and the breakfast wasn't overwhelming but all in all we loved the atmosphere.

I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights and it was the perfect place. It was filled with charm and the staff was beyond friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I enjoyed the croissants every morning with a great cup of coffee. I loved this hotel and would stay here again... More

We went buying olive oil in Descenzano del Garda, so we decided to stay 2 nights in Montichiari. I agree completely with all the positive reviews. This palazzo is an hidden gem ! The renovation of this old building is done with a lot of good taste and with respect for the palazzo. The room, bed and bathroom were just... More

Outstanding halls, incredibly welcoming, super clean and well curated in all the details. Staff is so friendly and breakfast really delicious. Nice surprise that we got a free upgrade in a Suite Apartment which is more than romantic and full of grace. Definitely a must!!

This is one of those places you will remember that you stayed at. Most hotels are just a bed for the night but this piece of old history makes you want to spend time on the hotel, rather that sightseeing the busy Garda lake. The place has a lot of atmosphere and when you walk the narrow stairs and pathways... More

As always when you stay a nice hotel like this for business you wish you could have time for leisure. the room was large enough, the bed was compfy, the toilet was OK. One might expect to see a bath tub but not me. The floor was stone and it was very cold to walk on it barefoot. I think... More

This small hotel, full of character, is one of the most peaceful and tranquil places we have ever stayed. Both Kenda and Chiara were lovely to deal with, and nothing was too much trouble...dinner reservations, romantic decoration in the bedroom, loan of an umbrella! A wonderfully quiet night followed by a delicious and satisfying breakfast, we will definitely return!

This is a lovely small hotel, with nice and spacious rooms. We had a floor for ourselves, which had 2 rooms, this is perfect for a group of 4 who travel together. The brakfast is really nice with a great variation and the coffee is amazing (as it should be i Italy). The staff gave us good tips on where... More
