We stayed at Eldsto just one night at the end of July. Rooms are over the pub, there are 2 shared bathrooms and a kitchen and living room. Everything was clean and well decorated. Free Wi-Fi was available. Self service breakfast at the pub with : cereals, bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, coffee and tea. Good!

Was a bit nervous that based on the location, we would get the dregs. Pleasantly surprised to find the opposite. Really tasty burger and chips served quickly and hot. The staff were polite and friendly, and answered all questions we had. I would indeed recommend it if you are in this area!

My family (2 adults, 2 young children) stayed here for 1 night while traveling through Iceland. The cafe food was delicious. Breakfast had lots of variety, the coffee was excellent, and the cakes were amazing. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen and bathroom. We were able to go to the grocery store and make... More

Having suffered a lot of overpriced hotel food on the trip we wanted to go somewhere else and the TripAdvisor reviews for this place made it stand out. We went and were not disappointed. I don't mind paying for good food and this place did it very well and with very friendly service. The fish and chips were great and... More

This cute little restaurant served up a might dining experience. We had a large group of seven but they were able to accommodate us. The service was very good and the food was really delicious and well presented. I had lamb and vegetables. A great wine selection is also available. Very nice dessert selection as well. And then there's the... More

We stayed here our first night in Iceland. After reserving the room, I had some questions. Helga was very responsive by email. It is conveniently located on the main road, next to a small market and across from a gas station. The rooms are located on the 2nd floor. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have the kitchen... More

We stopped here to take a look at the art and have dinner. The food was good. I had a Traditional Lamb Stew and my wife had a melted cheese and ham sandwhich and a beer. Overall a descent stop. Was not impressed with the selection of items for sale.

Had a two night stay here and the facilities were first class. Nice kitchenette and sitting area meant that we could get food from the supermarket next door and eat in. Room was small, and as with most of the places that we stayed in Iceland, there was little room to actually put anything down except on the floor. Shower... More

After a day driving in Iceland, we stopped in this little café. It was cosy to sit. I took a hot chocolate, delicious ! We saw the cakes, and we needed to try one! They were the best! We took the chocolate one, a really good one ! But every cake there looks amazing !

Rooms were decorately very nicely and were clean. Shared bathroom was also very clean. Breakfast in the morning was very disappointing, very small portion and the quality of the meat provided wasn't great.
