Stayed a couple of rainy days at this comfy hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Dinner, including lamb from the farm, was good, but the mushroom soup was excellent. Breakfast was also very good, with the best skyr that we had in Iceland. Would have loved to see the Northern Lights from this location!

The staff here were just wonderful. They all were so nice and helpful. The room was great, the furniture might be a little outdated, but the bed was comfy, the bathroom was beautiful and overall so clean. The barn for dinner is so much better than the pictures. We had the most amazing dinner here. Everything was so fresh and...

Staff was very helpful, accommodations were basic but comfortable and clean. The included breakfast was excellent, lots of fresh fruit and homemade skyr. We arrived after dark and had not problem finding it.

I arrived later than planned as the vehicle I had been on an organised tour with had broken down so I missed the restaurant as it had closed, which was a shame (I arrived about 9pm). The girl on the desk kindly offered to make me a sandwich at packed lunch rate. I had booked a room in the guest...

The hotel is at ideal location. The rooms are modern, clean and the people are very welcoming. We forgot a scarf in the room and the manager Margrét sent it to us in Switzerland by parcel post, with no charge. This is a sign of honesty and friendly attitude. The restaurant is also very good.

Facilities were VERY basic. Location was VERY far off the main road via a pebble/stone road and we got a flat tire - though it is very pretty farmland. The staff was friendly and nice Expensive for what was provided

You will drive in land from the ring road, and find a beautiful farm area just below the highlands. Upon first look, you will be surprized that this is actually a hotel, as it appears to be a fully functioning farm, with a corral across from the parking lot. The lobby is warm and inviting with a good amount of...

We only stayed one night and I wish we had stayed longer. The drive to the hotel is amazing past many horse farms. They have goats, sheep, horses, chickens and a dog. We went on a horse ride as soon as we arrived that was quite nice. The restaurant dinners are very good, but there is only one set dinner...

The staff were friendly and knowledgable, answering all of our questions and making phone calls to help us plan our days. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast in a lovely room with views of Eyjafjallajökull and the surrounding farm.
