Spend our first night in Iceland in this hotel gave a good glimpse into the country. We checked in around 3p and were the first guests. They seem to be still cleaning. Place felt deserted and quiet. There are only 12 "hotel" rooms. Rooms are big. Beds were really soft, but comfortable maybe because we have not slept for 24...

This is a fab little hotel in the middle of nowhere. The staff were so friendly and we had a great roast lamb dinner. The rooms are spacious and the facilities are spot on. Definitely get the ensuite to save hassle

This was one of three places we stayed and it was delightful! We arrived and the area was covered in snow which was breathtakingly beautiful! It is a remodeled farmhouse and the owners and staff were so kind and helpful. Rooms were spacious, the breakfast was well stocked and tasty, and the lamb dinner (from their farm) with mushroom soup...

We stayed here for three night in late December. We never saw the farm during the day as it was dark when we left and dark when we returned. Rooms were fine. Bedding was good. Showers were amazing! we had dinner there one evening and enjoyed it very much. We didn't think it was to expensive by Iceland standards. About...

This hotel is run by a farm family and they welcome you to enjoy their farm and the surrounding countryside. The food is good and friendly goats may end up following you for a walk. The breakfast was the best we had during our stay, with a large variety of many things they made themselves. We spend part of a...

This was the third hotel of our weeklong trip and it was definitely our favorite. We arrived and left in total darkness so I cannot speak to the property itself but it looks well maintained and the surroundings seemed to be striking. We did realize were near farm animals with the smell in the air but that did not impact...

We arrived in the night and left in the night, so I can't offer any opinion of the surrounding property but the room was very comfortable; clean and quiet. We had an issue with the sink in the room we were originally assigned and one of the owners immediately assigned us to another room. Free parking on the property. An...

Stayed a couple of rainy days at this comfy hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Dinner, including lamb from the farm, was good, but the mushroom soup was excellent. Breakfast was also very good, with the best skyr that we had in Iceland. Would have loved to see the Northern Lights from this location!

The staff here were just wonderful. They all were so nice and helpful. The room was great, the furniture might be a little outdated, but the bed was comfy, the bathroom was beautiful and overall so clean. The barn for dinner is so much better than the pictures. We had the most amazing dinner here. Everything was so fresh and...
