I would give 0 stars if I could. The hallways smell musty and the rooms are old and run down. Our room was overwhelmingly hot and we had to open a window AND the outside door to cool it after turning the radiator to its lowest setting. When we travel, sleep is of the utmost importance. These beds are lumpy...

We stayed here on night so we would be closer to the Golden Circle. It is a lovely hotel with a cozy dining room, bar and lounge area. We enjoyed dinner here because there are very few option in town and had a nice meal. We woke up to the most amazing sunrise outside of the restaurant and had a...

This is a hotel sold only to non-Icelandic tourists. It is old and in an awkward location if you don't have a car. Our toilet would not stop running. We were told that there was nothing that could be done as the hotel was sold out and the toilets were old. The WiFi is very weak, the rooms are small...

I'm a local living in Reykjavik. I stayed here with a team of coworkers during an annual festival. The hotel is nice given it's a country side hotels in Iceland. The rooms are simple but include all the amenities needed for a stay. Make sure to have your swim suites with you to enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi. The restaurant served...

Stayed here one night. Supposed to be a three star hotel. Mmmmm! Not sure who's doing the ratings. Foyer is actually pretty nice . Room ok and bathroom basic. Didn't even have a glass in there for water. Had to ask for a couple. Fludir is worth missing but close to some attractions

I stayed here for one night during a 6-day self-drive tour of Iceland. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, the hotel was empty and we thought we were the only guests staying there. We went to the geothermal baths which was very close to the hotel, then came back to shower and have dinner at the hotel. The bathroom: very...

We read about the good reviews online and decided to book this hotel for 1 night. Upon arrival, we noticed that it was an older Iceland hotel. At entrance, there is a musty smell. We requested a room with a nice view (garden) and obviously its common to find Iceland hotels do not really pay attention to special room requests....

We stayed here for one night as part of a tour. It's a very small little hotel but the surroundings are quite nice. They have some beautiful rock formations and hot tub in the back area with some nice seating areas as well. Our room was nice, clean, and very basic but perfect for what we needed. The buffet breakfast...

This is more like a motel than a hotel. But considering a small town where it is located, it's not a bad choice for a night over before heading off to another town. There are private outdoor hot tubs for guests at the hotel courtyard, but it doesn't look clean and well-maintained. The restaurant offer decent breakfast and lunch though.
