We only stayed one night on the way to Branson wished we had more time as plenty to see and do. Good location for visiting the Lincoln sites. The Hotel staff were friendly and helpful with advice on places to eat and visit. A good choice at breakfast. Room was clean but a bit dated

This Hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed at!! Rooms are very clean....beds are so comfortable, I slept better there than at home.....the complimentary breakfast is unbelievable....and the staff just couldn't be nicer!!!. We came to town for my son's wedding with a lot of the guests arriving on Saturday from out of town. They didn't want...

Wife and I took a walk through history with a visit to Sprinkfield and stayed at the State House Inn. A+++ the staff, the room and Breakfast. The location is close to all the Lincoln historical sites. Will stay there again. Prices are resonable.

Being in the heart of the city gives this hotel 5 stars. The first night we were in a queen suite which is supposed to sleep 4 people. There was one comfortable bed and a rock solid futon for the other two people. The head of the bed was on the wall next to the elevator so there was noise...

Room was clean (if a bit on the small side), beds comfortable, free hot breakfast buffet was great! Within walking distance of the Lincoln Museum and many other Lincoln sites as well as other attractions (great view of the capital building) and restaurants. Two parking lots for guests. One nit to pick: low-definition TV. Once you get used to high-def,...

Perfect location and walking distance to most attractions in town. Staff was friendly, but a little loud in the hallways. We stayed 2 nights. Wish we had a room with a view of the capital as well as a fridge in the room. Breakfast was alright. Overall not a bad stay.

The front desk woman, an African American who was working around 6:30 pm Sat Sept 1st, was very arrogant and rude. She was not nice at all. She made our check in difficult and listed a whole slew of reasons why we could not get a "quiet" room. It was very condescending. I would not stay here again!

This hotel has great potential...but still waiting on this visit. It is in a neat location right downtown; but, definitely off the main drag. The room appeared quite clean, but there were a couple disturbing things that made us think twice. First, the one of the complimentary bottles of water had already been opened and partially consumed. (Must not have...

The atmosphere of the hotel was great. Rooms were very clean, very retroish. Bed was very comfortable. Wish I would have had the time to stay and sleep in it a few more hours! The view at night was relaxing of all the city lights. Was on the 7th floor, so good view. Hot Buffet breakfast was good. Service was...

The staff was swell and the suite was sweet. The morning meal was good and free. The king bed is the only complaint, the floor might have been more comfortable. Great price and a good location. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance.
