I don’t know why this place has gotten so much hate. The train was loud but not unreasonable and the room was fine for cleanliness and comfort. Considering the price and the location it was a fantastic bargain. I’d stay again.

Booked at last minute, room clean. Tub drains very slow. No maid service. Desk clerk Had to ask for toilet paper. Was told they had breakfast, they don't. Location is good and next door to Lounkinen's on 4th street. Great food.

I lived here for a month last October. Never once saw a mouse or heard of anyone getting bedbugs. I loved the old style atmosphere, how close I was to downtown, and some of the front desk staff. Though, I'm currently backpacking Asia, so my standards might not be too high. ;)
