I absolutely loved this hotel. it is so quaint and charming. The staff are lovely and the grounds are beautiful! The was the only place that we saw the Northern Lights from as well. The rest of our nights in Iceland were very overcast, but the night we stayed here we saw them and they were beautiful!! When I came...

A few positives and negatives from our two night stay: The hotel is an authentic icelandic farm, with sheep, a few roaming cats and dogs, ducks in the pond and some cows - it's a nice representation of rural icelandic culture. The staff mostly were kind and accommodating, especially the older man, who I am guessing is a part-owner. it's...

Thank you for your detailed point´s. This kind of review do help us a lot. We are really sorry about your negative experience. About the sauce extra charge was originally done to prevent waist. We wore trowing away a lot of full sauce boxes - but staff needs to be more clear on the extras. We are trying to offer...

Stayed here for one night while travelling the Ring Road in October. Room was unique as all rooms are named for Icelandic Gods and Goddesses. Breakfast was average. The property is very scenic. Cows and sheep are nearby as well. Parking is accessible.

There are animals around the house and that makes you feel like you are welcome, at least that's what I think. When I saw the restrooms I was very surprised (in a good way). So if you have to choose between a gas station and Hraunsnef ,to poop and eat, you should absolutely choose Hraunsnef.

The host is pleasant. The facilities need more care and the surroundings. Very expensive and cheap wares for sale. Food was ok and some of it was well presented. The main dining room had a good standard. But it had paint spots here and there that was irritating. The whole place needs some TLC. I hope the host which was...

It is not the first time we come and eat at Hraunsnef restaurant, it is the first time, though since the renovations. The food is delicious and products are locally produced. The service is friendly and professional. The new restaurant is bright and cosy and you have now a even better view on the mountains from your table! I loved...

We spent 2 nights in this hotel but basically nothing much can do in this area during Winter. The weather is extremely unpredictable at mountain area during our visit and we even stuck in hotel due to bad weather. The room has everything you want but I did not have a good sleep during my stay due to the poor...
