This is a nice hotel. From start to finish the staff team were in the main very helpful. we asked them to arrange a taxi for us from our airport which they did - it was a fraction of the cost our tour company wanted to charge. We had a junior suite with a private pool - lovely room, large double bed with great views and one of the better sized private pools we have had. If you decide to stay here try for one of these rooms. We knew that there was a steep walk into the village of Sivota - it is really steep and we ended up having a taxi each way when we went there. Euro 5 each way and the hotel will get you one into town when you want. Our main problem was with the food. Breakfast was OK with cooked to order dishes available (we only found this out after 3 days by accident as nobody on the restaurant team had pointed this out to us). We were on a half board basis. There was a selection of 5 dishes each night only they were the same dishes each night. Unfortunately we did not get on with the fusion type cooking (Greek/Japanese? - very odd) and although the hotel tried to help us out (at a cost) this did not really solve the problem. Therefore do not go half board - take the taxi into town, have a meal at a fraction of the cost of the hotel at one of the many tavernas in the town. One final observation - the wine at the hotel was very expensive far what it was. The cheapest was Euro 20 (and not too good) and most were in the Euro 40 region. The wine in one taverna in the village was Euro 6. I know you expect to pay more in a hotel.

Hotel's Favorite
Well, I think ‘Jay R’ who wrote a previous review must have been staying a different hotel. I could not disagree with his review more. The efficient and friendly staff are one of the many plus points of this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. Air conditioner problem sorted immediately. Very clean and well-kept premises. We have a pool suite which is idyllic. Despite it being the height of the season there are ample sun loungers and a multitude of spots to hang out including two pools, private beach, pontoon and by the beach bar. Our rooms are exceptional. Teenagers are in a double room with two balconies. Never had such a large room. We will be recommending this hotel to everyone. Evening restaurant menu was very grown -up so we mainly walked the 15 minutes into Sivota to the many restaurants to suit pizza-loving teen. There is a steep , short hill as you leave the hotel but you can get a taxi. Hotel and pools are on many levels with some steep slopes so make sure you’ve got everything before you go down to the beach. You can hire paddle boards and kayaks from the hotel and also book boat trips. This hotel beats everywhere we have stayed in Scicily and Croatia and came very close to experiences in the Maldives. Thank you for a , so far, excellent holiday.

We were delighted with our visit to the hotel. My wife had a birthday and wanted to celebrate it somewhere quiet and peaceful by the sea in Greece. We came across this place by accident while watching a video about Greek bays in the Ionian Sea. We decided to visit it and we were not disappointed. The hotel turned out to be a hidden gem. Our room had a gorgeous view of the bay and nearby islands. The bedroom is huge and very comfortable. The bathroom is also large with everything you need and has a very large and comfortable shower. It is cleaned daily. The staff is extremely kind and responsive. Very nice people. The breakfast is very good and varied. The restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine and the food is delicious. However, if you expect typical Greek food, you will have to visit a tavern in the village. The hotel has a private beach with a great view. There is also a private parking. On site you can rent a boat (which we did) and tour the neighboring islands. Special thanks to the hotel management for the surprise they made to my wife for her birthday. We will definitely visit this wonderful place again someday.

We stayed here for 10 nights in a junior suite with sea view in September. The room was lovely, quiet, good size, super comfy bed and sofa. Nice big shower with toiletries. The view was beautiful over looking the bay with the yachts moored up, great for a wine at the end of the day. Breakfast was good. Variety of hot items, pastries, bread, jams etc and the restaurant also had a lovely view over the bay, filled us up for the day. The grounds were kept nicely with lots of flowers, and various places to sunbathe and chill out - the normal pool, the infinity pool with a lovely view, a small beach with beach bar with nice seating just behind it, plus the floating jetty with sunbeds on it, great to watch the boats coming in and out of Sivota harbour. Staff were polite and helpful, always checking everything was ok. There was also a a golf buggy to transfer you and your luggage up the very steep hill outside the hotel to your coach. The hotel is about a 20 min walk into Sivota village - there is a very steep hill just outside the hotel, then downhill all the way, so we used to walk in and taxi back lol! There are also 2 other beaches within a 10/15 min walk of the hotel and various others a bit further out. We really loved our stay here and will definitely return. Would recommend it . There is only one thing that I think would improve the hotel and that is a small boat service to taxi people to and from the village, for a charge of course.

Fabulous hotel in a beautiful part of Greece. Stunning views across to Paxos We had a pool suite which was huge and the pool was more than a plunge pool. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Housekeeping perfect. We had booked with breakfast and were so pleased as the only criticism we had was the restaurant menu was a little too 'gourmet'. Greek influences but it wasn't as good as we expected. Beautifully cooked and presented but we, and other residents agreed, love real Greek food - not feta foam or cheesecake starter. But Sivota has some amazing restaurants around the harbour which we can highly recommend.

A wonderful hillside hotel, perfect for a serene 5 star getaway. We stayed in the Executive junior suite with private pool as part of our Honeymoon and we were not dissapointed. The room had all the amenities required. It was slicky designed and very comfortable. The real star of the show though, was the terrace and the views, panoramically stretching accross the bay. The private, sandy beach was idilyc with the gentle waves lapping the shore, inches from you feet, again, the views are lovely. Food is of a good standard although certain items can be expensive for what you receive, especially the Tacos which were literally 1 mouthful x 3 for €18. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and will be returning.

Based on the photos our expectations were high, and we weren't disappointed! We stayed in the Executive Junior Suite with private pool for two nights. The stay was part of our 2-week honeymoon. We found it being good value compared to many other overpriced destinations/hotels in Greece, such as in Mykonos, Santorini etc. The views from our terrace were spectacular. The room was spacious and decorated in contemporary style. The bed was as comfortable as it gets and we slept very well. Based on our experience, I would recommend booking a Junior suite instead of standard rooms as these rooms are newer. Only one minor downside was the room terrace being overlooked by the other junior suites behind/above our room. I was aware of this beforehand and it didn't affect our experience, although it was slightly annoying when the other customers in the above junior suite were admiring the views right by the end of their pool leaving us no privacy. We loved the beach, and spent most of the daytime there. At the time we visited, the beach was never crowded and we always manged to get sunbeds. It was absolutely stunning and probably one of the best private beach experiences we've had despite its' small size. The food in the hotel was good quality and we enjoyed every meal we had. We had a la carte dinner once, and lunch a few times. We found the taco dish being overpriced as the tacos weren't regular but mini-sized with not a lot of fillings in them, however still very tasty. Perhaps avoid ordering special coffees such as lattes, as these weren't up to your usual standards. Customer service was generally good, but perhaps not always as attentive as it could be. Still room for improvement but good enough! We are already planning our next trip here, so all in all our experience was pleasant and worthy of 5*.

We just left the hotel. We were for three nights and we had an amazing stay. Starting from the reception girls, the team in the bar, the cleaner and ending with the room , the view and the private beach, everything was great. This one of the best hotels I ever was.

We're just back from a fab week at this hotel. It's situated with the most marvellous views out across the sea to the small islands. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our room had a great view. The breakfast buffet was tasty, nicely presented and had enough choice without being overwhelmed by unnecessary items as in some of the larger hotels. The grounds were well kept and clean. The infinity pool was stunning and we spent many hours here at the end of each day. There was no extra charge to use this pool and mostly there were plenty of empty loungers. The private beach below the hotel was honestly the nicest beach of all the local ones we visited. Most of the others were more pebbly and less sheltered. Car hire can be had from Ionian Travel in the village. Also the best boat trips are the Glass Bottomed Boats as they actually land at the Blue Lagoon. The rest stop further out and you have to swim from the boat. Go on the first trip of the day for a quieter experience. Don't bother with the Diaspora beach as it's nothing special. Just a couple of negative points: The amount of steps to be negotiated to get from the rooms to the restaurant and pool areas would be an issue for some. Fine for most people though and certainly not as much as we've found at other hillside hotels. There was music playing by the infinity pool for most of the day which was a little annoying at times when we just wanted to relax quietly. Meals at the hotel were fairly pricey, and all a bit exotic really. After the first night we chose to eat down in the village for less than half the price, with much more choice available. It's not too far to walk down to the village, and taxis back up to the hotel are only 5 Euros. Only other thing would be a personal request to the hotel to maybe put up some bird feeders, maybe on the grassy area next to the infinity pool. There were various birds in the trees nearby and it would be great to help out the wildlife a bit and encourage them for everyone to see.
