The views are fantastic, mountains one side, sea the other. Beautiful hotel so clean and well kept Kind caring staff, during my stay I had terrible news, my father had passed away. The ladies working in the pool bar were so kind and compassionate, they looked after myself and my husband, understood how I felt and asked how I was during the rest of holiday with them. The restaurant has had to deal with massive changes during the pandemic, the staff have adjusted well and the service given is very good. The food across the hotel is of high quality and well presented so much so that the family who own and run the hotel have their meals there as well. The family are very much a working part of the hotel team. I cannot praise the team enough from the man who carried our bags to our room to the cleaning team they try to make your stay as perfect as possible. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance should you opt for breakfast only. So if you want a beautiful, clean, well organised hotel with fantastic views and a quiet hotel this one is worth visiting.

Just back from a week at Maritimo and enjoyed it. Sissi is an attractive little town with a relaxed vibe and the Maritimo reflects that. Location on one side of the harbour means you are only a short walk from all the restaurants, shops etc. Hotel is not huge but has all you expect, two pools, two bars, spa. We had a standard room with garden view. It was a good size with TV/fridge/hairdryer and very clean. They only come in to clean when you request because of Covid but you only need to ask. TV only has German/French entertainment channels. Balcony was a bit small but other room categories have bigger ones, would probably upgrade if returning. Obviously Covid meant they are having to do things differently from normal but they were clearly making every effort to provide good service with the necessary precautions. We certainly felt perfectly safe. Breakfast was a good selection and the pool bar snacks are very nice, we ate dinner out so can't comment on that. Staff were friendly and helpful as Greeks usually are. Don't expect a sand beach, hotel fronts onto rocky shore and beside that there is an area sloping down into the harbour entrance which gives access to swim. I think in normal times there may be sunbeds there. The nearest sand beach with facilities is the big resort hotel about 1.5km away where they let you use the beach. We had good massages from Irini in the little Maritimo spa. An enjoyable week and they seem to appreciate people making the effort to come in these difficult times.

We visited the Maritimo shortly after the restrictions for visiting Greece had been lifted. It was a very pleasant stay, and the staff were all very helpful, friendly and professional. You wouldn’t have even known that COVID-19 existed which made for a great escape from the whole situation that’s going on in the world right now. Tiny criticism (but not enough to put me off) was that at the pool bar they had a decent sized cocktail menu and whenever we asked for a cocktail the bar staff kept simply saying “I can’t make that one sorry” which was a little pain but as I say not enough to not return. Give it a go! You will be happy you did!

Really well run hotel. Had half board and dinner was excellent. Staff really welcoming and friendly, spotlessly clean and it was clear that a lot of care goes into all aspects of the hotel. Good location next to the sea, lovely views, pool excellent. All covid 19 processes very well managed and we felt really safe at all times.

We had a great 7 days at the Maritimo. We were half board and both the Breakfast and Dinners we full of choice and sensibility managed in these Covid19 times. Two decent pools, the main pools was the highlight being next to the sea and being over 2.65m deep in places. Staff were very conscientious and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to families and couples.
