While deciding to visit Omaha, seeing this place on line clinched it for me. I decided to spend 3 nights here and it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable vacations ever. The house is in amazing shape and is obviously well cared for. It is an old mansion and it is apparent that great care has been taken... More

The Cornerstone Mansion is magnificent! My daughter and I went to Omaha to visit the zoo which was very nice, but the best part of our three day excursion was our time spent at The Cornerstone. My daughter is a history major. When we entered the mansion she became teary-eyed. It is pristine from the grand staircase to the priceless... More

I like another recent guest have mixed emotions about this Bed & breakfast. I will separate them by the pros and cons. Pros=Owner is nice, location is good, and the history of the place is interesting Cons=The interior and exterior are in need of some general maintenance (our toilet needed repaired while there, the A/C was on but we still... Two couples in town for the Berkshire Hathaway event. An earlier reviewer likened the experience to staying at the Disney Haunted Mansion without the cobwebs and ghosts. I agree with her assessment although not with her enthusiasm. First the positives---the rooms were spacious, beds were clean and comfortable, and the decor was interesting. The first floor rooms of the house... More

We are disappointed that this guest did not enjoy her experience with us as much as we hoped. We tackle all maintenance in our 120+-year-old mansion, but if a guest encounters a maintenance issue, we suggest they tell us about it. If we know about a shower handle or door lock not in proper working order, we fix it immediately.... More

The Cornerstone Mansion B&B is located in Omaha's old "Gold Coast" district, across the street from the huge and ostentatious Joslyn Castle. My wife and I stayed two nights on the third floor in the charming Charles Suite which has mahogany paneling on the walls and beamed ceiling. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. Although the room has a small... More

My wife and I are staying here currently and it has been a wonderful experience. Julie is a great host and makes some amazing treats. The Apple walnut French toast was fantastic. We stayed in two different rooms - the savannah and Charles suites. Both were unique and had some interesting history.

This place is really lovely, each room has charming little antique touches that make the stay really special and romantic. It is an old mansion, has kind of a victorian gothic feel, but quaint and cozy too. All of the furniture is beautiful, you can sit outside in the little garden or the study, at the piano or the downstairs... More

My husband and I stayed one night at the Cornerstone B&B as we were in Omaha to move our daughter to an apartment. Julie was a delightful hostess who was attentive and gracious in every way. Our room, the Castle Room, was comfortable and clean. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay another night.
