Normally stay outside the city centre, but needed a reasonable priced hotel with meals availble on the premises due to self imposed Covid rules by my employer. Another positive point was the airport shuttle bus which runs out when you call reception. The hotel is pretty big which tied in with a long walk to the room with great views of the adjacent interstate at the end of the corridor. The hotel appears dark and dated, but the room was a good size and well furnished and clean. We had to eat in and the evening menu is fairly limited, we had burger and fries. The breakfast has to be ordered from a limited selection at the bar area and then delivered in the big paper bag, but the omelette was freshly cooked. There is a adjacent large car park, which had a hefty daily charge, but you are close to the centre. We used the bar which had a good selection of beverages and was reasonably busy.

Hotel's Favorite
My son and I made our way down to Omaha to see the Olympic trials last week and wow, did we get lucky to stay at this hotel. Not only is it connected to the Trials facility (and right next to the College World Series), the staff is some of the friendliest, hardest working I've ever met. And I travel a TON. On top of this being a great hotel, seeing Michael Phelps and other swimming royalty hanging out in the lobby was pretty special for us. It was clear they were enjoying their stays as much as us. Some particulars: 1. Great bar/lobby atmosphere. Aforementioned celebrity watching was super cool. And even with the tremendous traffic due to the College World Series and the Trial coinciding, I never waited more than 15-20 seconds to order a drink. 2. Rooms were spacious and clean. All we ever need is a clean room and we're happy. 3. Location. Amazing spot. Walked to several restaurants and the sports venues. Super convenient. 4. Gym. Like a mini-health club. Pool, sauna, hot tub, locker rooms. MUCH nicer than most hotel gyms. 5. Staff. Some of the friendliest people I've ever met. And given the fact that this week was probably their busiest and most stressful, I was shocked at how great this staff performed. Overall, an amazing trip. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice bed. Clean room except, oddly, the bathtub had rust spots that made it look dirty even though it wasn’t. Gave it that 1970 Motel 6 feel. The other problem didn’t occur until the last night, when we were assaulted by dense clouds of marijuana smoke from under the adjacent room door. The hotel staff texted that they’d check into it and it did get better. Overall a very nice hotel.

Super party hotel. Dirty room with mold in the shower, everything smells like weed, weed, and more weed. It took an actual hour to check in. Stay anywhere else. Loud people in the hallways and rooms all night long and yhe front desk literally NEVER answered the phone.

Had the best experience with the entire staff of the Hilton Omaha. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone. They were awesome to all the baseball fans and never once seemed frustrated with the swarms of people.

Dear cmcalexa, Thank you for staying with us during one of the most exciting times in CWS history. The run for the champions, Mississippi State, was one for story books. There were so many people who enjoyed themselves. As you put it well: "the swarms of people". Our team is really exceptional and I am very grateful you are recognizing them with your comments: "best experience with the entire staff" and "the were awesome" The gears of the economy and travel are moving forward at a fast pace as we move towards the end of the pandemic. I hope to see you back in Omaha soon. Please contact me, as I would love to thank you personally for staying with us and recognizing our team. Best Regards, Robert Sabin Hilton Omaha - General Manager 402-998-4201 Robert.Sabin@Hilton.com
