They don’t answer the phone. Huge lines. Plus they charge $5 for a package mailed to your room! I’ve never seen a charge for a package before. Is that the new normal?? During the Berkshire weekend avoid it. I’ve been here other times and they are ok.
This is an excellent location to stay for the Olympic Swim trials. There is not a closer location. The hotel has a free airport shuttle with generous hours. You can walk to many different food and entertainment options. The room has a fridge and coffee maker but no microwave. I was really happy with how they handled the Diamond breakfast. The best I’ve seen a hilton do recently. You order your food online and preselect your time. The options are limited but good and include omelette, french toast for kids and simple egg/meat options. I’d encourage them to add a banana and milk as options and its pretty much a perfect breakfast. They text you when it is ready and you pick it up in the bar area. We are already planning tp stay here for our 2024 trip!
I spent one night here recently, the room was run down, out dated and dirty. It smelled like stale smoke. I have posted pics of the bath tub in the room which was full of missing chunks that were full of rust, yellow toilet seat, and really just gross bathroom. My coworkers paid over 200 a night for rooms. The TV’s were small, the furniture was dirty and dusty, and the walls were in desperate need of work. Someone else I know who was there for the same conference found bed bugs in their room. I would not stay here again.
The room needs a refresh. I am from California and my be too critical. Lime deposits and ignored unclean hair dryers. TV is 1080 resolution which may be sufficient. The contactless access was brilliant.
I used to go out of my way to stay here for both personal and business trips because of the high quality/personal service I would receive, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms. My last trip, I experienced two rooms with mold in the bathrooms and a musty smell throughout. For the price you get convenience to the event center, not much else.
We had a great time at the Hilton great staff… The bar and the food was both a good experience. We had an amazing suite that we will stay in again as it had everything you could ever ask for and more.
We enjoyed our stay at this full-service hotel. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable and appeared to have been recently updated. The personnel we encountered were friendly. The location is convenient to the convention center and Old Town.
I booked two adjoining rooms in February for this coming weekend. I paid $2,649.14. I get on the hotel's website to get the address today, notice that rates are 1/2 as expensive as they were when I booked ($1,342.26). I called the hotel, they are unwilling to modify my reservation, or change it in anyway. As a Hilton Honors member I find this completely appalling and wrong. I spent just under an hour on hold today. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I will be speaking to the general manager when I arrive this weekend.
Rooms are run down and need a remodel. Not clean by any standards. The location and hotel employees are nice but not worth the nightly fee! Small tvs. Parking is an additional 20$. Stayed here for a concert but next time will stay elsewhere and just uber or walk
The Omaha Hilton is a nice place to stay and so convenient, being close to the Old Market and ball stadium establishments. It also has the covered access to the CHI Center, which in the winter is a blessing. However, since Covid, the services and some cleanliness and maintenance issues in some of the public areas of the hotel is certainly noticeable.
