The hosts are charming, the house is beautifully decorated and is tucked away down a side street close to the centre. We stayed in the Sarah Bernhadt room for 2 nights. This is expensive and with that I expected not to have a noisy fridge which had only 2 small bottles of water in and was not replenished for our... More

As part of our self guided walking tour of Provence organized for us by Walk Inn of Avignon (a great company by the way), we were fortunate enough to be booked into Le Clos Violette. The hostess at this lovely old renovated home was gracious, welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was classic French - yogurt baguettes, fruit home made jams,... More

We were fortunate to have been a visitor/guest at this wonderfully restored large home in the centre of L' Isle. The house is furnished with antiques and the hosts Richard and Regane could not have been more kind or helpful. As a guest you are provided with free aperitifs and encouraged to help youself to drinks in the large lounge. Breakfast for... More

The house and the people are fantastic. We just decided to add another day. Walking around the town enjoying the antique markets and the Jardin restaurant and all that was just fantastic. Recommend staying here. We stayed in the subcontinent room which was great, if you want more decoration stay in one of the others. But stay here for sure

Creepy, really?!! The only thing I can think is this person doesn't appreciate a historical feel...This place is updated and upscale. Every room was well appointed, unique (I couldn't stop snapping pictures!) and charming, not to mention in a fantastic location! Our hosts were more than accommodating, making our stay an absolute treat to the end of our trip! We... More

Rejane & Richard could not have been more wonderful hosts. They are extremely gracious and natural to make you feel at home. We arrived midday, very pleasantly greeted and provided a tour of the house. There are three floors, with stairs and elevator access. Each room is unique, ranging in style from classical to modern. Ours (Sade) was grand and... More

I would never recommend this creepy mansion , where the owners were not home to greet us ! We were left on our own in this old & cold mansion - no redeeming points to speak of . The bed was from the previous century with a terry toweling cover - what is that ! Pillows that belong in a... More

We, a family of eight, hit upon Le Clos Violette by coincidence because the accomodation we had originally booked made a double booking. The couple that run the place we had booked did their best to find an alternative for us. They came up with Le Clos Violette. At first sceptical, because our new accomodation (townhouse in a small town)... More

Just stayed here for a few nights with my husband. It's such a well positioned hotel within the town and actually we didn't leave L'isle sur la Sorgue the few days we were there. There is a car park just yards from the front door that is free to park (I think it's where they have the Sunday market. Our... More

I cannot say enough in praise of this beautiful B&B and it's fantastic owners. We were greeted like visiting friends and offered the obligatory glass of Rose at the table in the huge rustic kitchen. The rooms are fabulous - decorated and furnished in traditional style but with sensitive integration of the modern conveniences. The owners really are delightful and... More
