Made reservations a few days before we were due to arrive. Upon arriving to find the hotel was in the middle of renovations that had the place smelling like a musty old bag. Sadly, we were not able to stay in this beautiful historic hotel and the receptionist was very understanding of our allergies and was nice enough to cancel... More

We just left the Hoover Dam tour earlier today and I must say that if you haven't thought about seeing this marvel of construction from the 30's, you should definitely reconsider. It is worth your time and money to see, personally, what humans are able to do when we set our minds to it. And when you do go to... More

What a great little hotel this is! I wanted a hotel for a couple of nights after a three week road trip, not in Las Vegas but close to the airport . . . . and this is it, without a doubt. Everything has already been said about this hotel and I agree with all that has been said. A... More

What a lovely old period hotel. Very nice room and good night sleep. Worthy visit if you need somewhere to stay before the flight home and you don't want a Vegas place. Plenty to eat next street down. Complimentary breakfast cooked to order, very nice. Room rate $110 all in, for a Sunday night. King suite. Museum on site, included... More

This place is stunning. We stayed here as we were leaving Las Vegas late and wanted to see the Hoover dam early the next morning. We stopped in Chloride on the way to Boulder City from Vegas. The Boulder Dan Hotel is a stunningly beautiful hotel heaped in history. The woman on the front desk (I think her name was... More

We stayed here only one night but will definitely be back. Quaint old hotel well maintained and cozy. Staff is super helpful and full of recommendations. We took the historic railroad trail, highly recommend. And do not miss the museum inside the hotel. So well done! And it's free to guests. Our breakfast, included with the room was great!

I attended a conference with 30+ teachers this past week and stayed here for 6 nights. I will tell you that if you're expecting huge rooms and lots of frills, you are in the wrong place. The BD Hotel was built in the 1930's. Luxury back then was a bit different than today. That said, I had a very clean... More

The rooms are kind of small, but that's to be expected in a historic hotel. It's very, very clean. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever been in. The staff is very sweet and accommodating, and the two ladies who work the front desk are hilarious. The lobby and restaurant are beautiful. The hotel also has a great museum... More

They did a great job making sure our stay was good. Breakfast is a highlight and included. Wifi worked great. Hotel has an awesome museum that... More

This is a piece of History that you can not miss. Small, quaint, quiet, sort of looks like it is in a residential neighborhood, but you see that you are in the section of town. The history in this hotel and this area is enough to enchant History profs and history wanna-be's. The rooms are small and old-fashioned feels like... More
