Truly enjoyed our stay at the historic Boulder Dam Hotel. The staff was friendly and made sure there was an easy check-in. Clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Interesting to learn about the hotel and the renovations to include sponsors of rooms with their decorative touches. Ours was from the Art Deco period and was lovely. Easy walk the next morning to our favorite Boulder City restaurant - Coffee Cup Cafe. The hotel has a restaurant in-house but we love the cafe. Highly recommend a stay here if in the area.

Originally we planned to stay at the Best Western in town, but due to a problem with check in we instead booked two king rooms at the Boulder Dam Hotel. This was for a one night stay. The two rooms we had - 203 and the more spacious 205 were fabulous, decorated with simple charm and subtle historical references. Everything was spotlessly clean. Beds firm and for us super comfortable. The location was wonderful as well and we took advantage of being able to stroll down the street to the not many shops and restaurants. The hotel is a historical treasure maintained to modern standards and with buckets of charm.

Hotel is awesome. From the front desk check in with (Kayla? Kaylee?) to the room itself, we were so pleased. They have a museum inside that was the bomb - you don't have to stay there to visit it, which we thought was very nice.

If gambling casinos and bright lights is not your style, this hotel is a good alternative. Historical, friendly, clean, quiet, and a good in house restaurant. The Las Vegas Strip is only 20 minutes away.
