We ended up staying for 4 nights due to the heatwave hitting France. Lovely clean pool, good facilities and a great restaurant with very reasonable prices. Also a shop where you could pick up pre-ordered bread and croissants for your breakfast. The first campsite in France with loo seats and loo paper! We also got a discount as UK caravan club members which made it very reasonable.

We stayed here to access the South of France. There is a small shop onsite however this has very limited opening hours and there aren't any other shops within the immediate vicinity - (village is a 20 minute walk and much of it doesn't have a path). The gentleman in the shop however was extremely helpful in getting a baguette for me when they had just ran out! Transport also goes from the village although the trains are very accessible to the South. Uber is also available in this area which is helpful. The site itself is very big and has some beautiful scenery and is also very peaceful. Electric available in pitches. No free wifi. Pool is very clean and spacious with a small bar. Restaurant onsite was delicious. Showers and toilets very clean and toilet roll available.

We stayed at Les Pinedes in August 2018 with our children aged 11 and 14. We had a roomy pitch at the highest level of the campsite: a quiet location, but as temperatures were very high it could have done with more shade. The campsite is very beautiful. Nice planting, well kept. Swimming pool is very nice: good water temperature and with a view of the surrounding area. Nice area for the kids and for sports. Facilities were OK: clean enough. Shop has very limited opening hours, but as there are several supermarkets within 10 minutes drive, that is not a problem. Wifi costs extra, but was of excellent quality. We were somewhat disappointed that the river that runs opposite the road was not accessible without walking almost a kilometre along the road without a footpath. All in all a very nice location for some peace and quiet to relax amidst the hustle and bustle of the Cote d'Azur.

We rented a smaller mobile home and were very pleased with the whole experience. Les Pinedes is well situated for exploring the coast of Southern France and the mountains - for a great easy day out we can highly recommend the nearby town of St Paul de Vence. The site itself is friendly and the owners and team made us feel welcome and included. There is nothing negative to report about this experience, the site is well maintained, it has a small shop which opens twice daily in high season for delicious bread and croissants etc which are baked on the premises, from the shop you can also hire a gas BBQ. Other facilities include a good laundry block, restaurant (we didn't sample this), excellent children's play park, outdoor badminton and table tennis, outdoor workout area for adults, boule pitches, and football area. The site is also home to 2 lovely friendly donkeys whom were often grazing right outside our window in their paddock, the children loved it. We must not forget to mention the outdoor heated swimming pool, it's very clean, and has a nice safe separate paddling pool for children, the main pool got busy with ball games every afternoon (which could be annoying as they had a tendency to take up the shallow end), but I could still manage a swim, and we never had a problem finding a sun lounger (they are free to use). The pool has a small bar which serves wine, beer, and soft drinks, ice creams, but food is not permitted by the pool. It is worth noting for the British gents that the speedo only rule is enforced vigorously! For any ladies not comfortable with the idea of bikinis do not panic, there were still plenty of ladies in a one piece!! The whole site was a pleasure to stay at, it was clean, very quiet but had enough happening to make it feel happy (ie welcome drinks, a unobtrusive party night one night, kids club, fitness class in the mornings etc) our mobile home was very clean and we were pleased. Top tips: The site is built in terraces and the pool is close to the bottom of the site, worth bearing in mind if booking if you are unable to walk up hills (although we did note that the site seems to have some buggys so it's worth inquiring if you are concerned) the children's park is at the top. Being British we conform to the cliche of liking a big cup of tea even in the 30 degree heat, we discovered on arrival that the mobile home has no kettle and no large cups suitable for tea so we had to nip out and buy 2 large mugs and boil our water on the stove all holiday, so travel kettle and mugs are needed if you are like us! Otherwise the home had everything we needed. On arrival we were pleased to find a welcome pack of: matches, sponge cleaner, cloth, toilet roll and a lovely bottle of wine, after a 1000 mile drive it was more than welcome! Thank you Les Pinedes we had a fantastic holiday (the family in P6!)

Located far enough from the main Côte d'Azur towns to be peaceful but close enough to access. Walking distance to the Loup river. The pitches are on shaded terraces so feel quite secluded. You are taken round the site on arrival in a golf buggy to choose your pitch. Facilities are plentiful and clean. The shop is handy and they bake their bread and pastries on site. Very pleasant hosts and staff. Great restaurant on site. The only downside is because of the terraces there's a steep climb either up or down to the loo!! Also if your pitching a tent take sturdy pegs and a good hammer as the ground is hard!
