We are very happy with our experience at Hotel du Poete in Fontaine de Vaucluse. It is a beautiful property, surrounded by water and very peaceful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and you can tell that ownership takes pride in keeping the property in mint condition. We were lucky to have 30 guests from our wedding stay at Hotel du... More

We absolutely love this hotel! Just beautiful and perfect and in a perfect location! It's a small hotel but is beautifully decorated throughout, very French chic. It has a warm and welcoming feel to it. The garden/pool area is amazing, with a little river flowing through! We ate breakfast outside with outstanding views of the mountains behind. Our room is... We stayed here on Day 3 of a four-day Cyclomundo bike tour. The hotel is within walking distance of the famous "source" and landscaped with gorgeous stone terraces, waterfalls, and little streams. (Note the rushing sound of the water is a bit loud if you want your window open in the evening.) The pool is small but lovely and refreshing,... More

We love this hotel and make a point of going there whenever we're in the South of France. The rooms are good, the property is gorgeous and the staff is friendly and helpful. We have visited during the spring and summer months and enjoyed the pool, spa. The location is great and close to shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend... More

Located just downstream of the source of the Sorgue River, this spot straddles several streams as they flow through the countryside. You can always hear the water flowing if you leave your window open. That was true even for my room, which overlooked the small parking lot. The room was roomy and comfortable, with a sort of country French decor.... More

This is our second time here--it was so wonderful last year we knew we had to return. The hotel was originally a paper mill and many channels off the Sorgue still plunge around and under the building. It's a lovely and unique spot. Service is excellent and staff are friendly. You can't beat it.

The hotel is easy to find due to the main one way system into the town. The welcome was efficient. Our room cosy. Not a lot of spare space for bags or hanging clothes. Everything was very clean. There is a good outdoor area and pool within the attractive garden area which has water running through. Breakfast, which can be eaten... More

I stayed in 3 different rooms due to my late booking, this suited me as each one was different. A comfortable bed, good pillows, excellent shower in each, the size of the room is not important to me. Friendly staff particularly Jerome & the Italian lass were particularly helpful. Drinks around the pool with friends was a lovely relaxing experience, 1... More

We stayed here for a NZ wedding. There were about 15 of us from New Zealand and we were all made to feel very welcome. Jerome, the bar tender was by far the friendliest of our stay in Provence. The pool area is lovely, clean and accommodating as are the rooms. The town is lovely and the hotel is in... More

Our room was well appointed and reasonably spacious. We chose to upgrade to a Melodie. The room overlooked the garden which is an oasis of tranquillity yet only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of a bustling tourist destination. The breakfast buffet was nothing short of sumptuous and breakfast could be taken on a charming terrace positioned between... More
