We had the pleasure to spend two nights at “Villa du Marquenterre”, the hosts gave us a warm and very polite welcome, good advice on restaurants and sites to see.
Our room was warm and cozy and our bathroom was spacious and both were immaculately clean.
We definitely recommend it! And will return, if we have the opportunity.
I am sorry that my French does not allow me to express my opinion clearly enough on some previous comments about “Villa du Marquenterre”, but I will do so in English.
I am doing so because when I came to express our opinion about “Villa du Marquenterre” I was astonished how people could leave such ridiculous comments.

This is a good place to stop coming off the Calais ferry or on the return journey. Happened upon this B & B by chance, reasonably priced which included breakfast. The town, a couple of minutes walk away, was lovely to walk around, and we felt safe a secure. The hostess and husband are very friendly and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. The hostess also speaks good English. The cleanliness of the bedroom and bathroom were excellent. Would definitely stop here again after the ferry crossing. There is a lovely "locals" restaurant whose speciality is mussels which is well worth a visit.
Plenty of local history in the town. We would give it a five star rating in a lovely friendly atmosphere.
