The hotel is older but not bad at all. The is a booking for Holland America lines. The room we have is very clean and a decent size. The restaurant nearby are really good especially GB brew house as one of the best I been to.

Bleak and rundown. The overnight clerk acted like he could care less if we were there. Fluctuating water temperature throughout both our showers. The highlights of this place would be the outdoor terraces that you can actually step out on (ours wouldn't lock) as well as the downtown location.

Center city in Anchorage. Air conditioning, not they need it, was a 12 inch ocillatting fan. The room was dated, we had a balcony, I believe all rooms have balconies. The room attracted a lot of noise from the streets below. Seems the Harley bikes like to roar up and down the streets all night long. Very distracting when trying... More

Clean, but nothing fancy. Used by tour companies like Grayline. Desk staff was pleasant. Lobby was packed with luggage when we checked. Two small elevators. Grayline has a tour desk in hotel. Small restaurant but does not stay open late. We ate our meals outside of hotel.

After a terrific land tour of AK and The Yukon, this place was a huge disappointment. While the logistics of moving in, etc worked well, the location gave us access to the visitor center, sites and good restaurants. However, on our last day in AK, we had to wait for the 9 PM shuttle to the airport. We booked a... More

Going on a Holland American cruise, this is where we stayed prior to starting. Older hotel, very attentive staff, adequate clean rooms. Not luxurious but basic for ones needs. People really only stay one night either before or ending your Alaska adventure. Don't expect grandious, expect an experience that wont put a negative on your trip.

This hotel is totally worn, shabby and outdated. We were shocked that this is the hotel used by Holland America cruises for its land portion. It does not make the best first impression! The room was comfortable enough and clean, but it did not make up for the appearance of the hotel. Staff were very nice and location in downtown... More

Assigned to a water facing room on the 12th floor ... extremely noisy. Ate under the food plan and was disappointed with the service, meal (crab legs). Good tour support and airport coordination. Close to local stores and other restaurants.

Holland misses with this hotel. It's isn't awful, but doesn't live up the standards set by the rest of the cruise accommodations. It's better than a Motel 6, but not by much. The hotel is very old and that shows. The elevators can not handle the capacity of a bus load arriving at once. Service was fair at best, but... More

Very sparce furnishings and decorations. Nothing matches, furnishings appear to be at least 20 yrs. old and we'll worn, second hand. Smell in halls is stale and rooms overcome you with deodrant. Thank heaven we could open a window to air out a bit. Shower, while hot, barely trickled no matter how you attempted to adjust. Very poor water pressure.... More
