We chose Susitna BB to spend our one night in Anchorage before heading north to Denali. It was a great choice. Quiet area with nice restaurants you could walk to. Linda was a great host. The view as we ate breakfast was super. Certainly recommend. We were two mature couples-- both rooms were very nice.

My husband and I spent two nights in the Susitna Suite at Susitna Place in Anchorage. Our deck/balcony had spectacular views of the Cook Inlet (including a blazing sunset), the snow covered Alaska Mountain Range and Denali on the horizon. The accommodations were modern, stylish, clean and comfortable. I loved the breakfast buffet. Our host, Linda, was welcoming and helpful.... More

We stayed at Susitna place for one night at the beginning of our Alaska trip. Location: This place is about 7 miles from the airport and the detailed driving directions shared at the time of reservation ensured that we had absolutely no trouble finding it. The house itself is in the middle of a quiet residential street and at a... More

This being our 9 th visit to Alaska, my husband and I pretty much have it down to a science of where to go, eat, sleep Ect. In 2014 there was a bump in our plans as the B and B we always stayed at was sold and is now a home. There are many B and Bs in anchorage,... More

We stayed in the Iliamna Room for one night and had a good time. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast was perfect. It is like a buffet and has everything you need from sausage to fruits to bread and bakeries. You also have a very nice view from the breakfast area over Cook Inlet. The location is... More

Our big family group stayed at Susitna Place for the two non-consecutive nights in Anchorage on either end of our trip up to Denali N.P. The B&B is in a quiet location on the edge of the downtown Anchorage area, and from the living/dining room there is a fantastic view over the water to Mount Susitna. The house felt spacious,... I liked Susitna Place. I liked the room, I liked the breakfasts, I liked the location. It's on a short dead-end street. Nice and quiet. The local bus system stopped only a couple of blocks away. Everything was great. Except... In other B&Bs that my wife and I stayed in the hosts were warm and friendly, the conversations were comfortable,... More

This B&B is really nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple and good. And, the owners were really welcoming. We stayed in one of the lower level rooms with shared bathroom access. There are two bathrooms available, so there weren't any issues. Wifi was provided. Parking was a little tight, but we had a... Pleasant B&B within walking distance of all downtown pubs and restaurants. Friendly hostess who was helpful with dining hints. Common/dining room had a great view of the bay. Only issue I had was nothing to do with the B&B but the road is not a through road due to the bluff and in spite of my giving directions the taxi... More

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and cared for. Our hosts were terrific and the views from the living room are amazing. Breakfast was good and we were in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. No air conditioning, but we were comfortable by opening the window and using the fan provided. Great place to stay in... More
