Beautiful, great location. Nice view of the inlet from our room Very clean. Friendly staff. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. Several options for restaurants available. I would not hesitate to stay here again . Close to several area restaurants and the area seemed safe even after dark

1 night stay. Luckily we checked in before the cruise ship folks. On our way to dinner very long lines to check in. 1 hour wait for breakfast the next morning. The rooms are small, dated, drab. The bathrooms tiny and dark. The folks on the cruise ship tour busses move slowly and don’t smile. Never again would I stay at this hotel that long ago passed its prime.

I just loved Captain Cook's Hotel. Beautiful place to stay. Lots of very nice and top of the line shops and restaurants in the Hotel. Our room was fantastic! We eat at Fletchers 2 times and it was very good, excellent Pizza! The Cubby had great coffee and breakfast sandwiches, quick and convenient.

Pleasant staff, although seemed to be short in a few positions. Valet parking convenient, otherwise forced to local lots. Convenient to coastal trail. Directions to crows nest lacking. Room seemed small compared to more modern hotels. Not much space in lobby area for meetings.

Holland America put us here as part of the land/cruise package. Beautiful room and view. Friendly staff. Close to many restaurants and things to do/see. But a word of advice, if you know you are coming here with one of the cruise lines, book your in house restaurant BEFORE the group arrives. Once we got there, standing room only and a long, long wait. Same with breakfast. Huge lines everywhere. No answer on the restaurant phone. We ended up ordering Dominos for dinner. But hands down, beautiful hotel.

Had a great stay here at the beginning of our tour. Hotel found us our room nice and early so we could enjoy our day in Anchorage. The room in tower 3 was a corner room with great views and very clean and tidy. Everything we needed including a super comfortable bed. Would certainly stay again.

The hotel is well maintained and perfect in every sense. BUT, the most outstanding feature is the level of hospitality shown by every single employee we came in contact with. Hotels around the globe could (and should) take lessons from the people at Captain Cook. The room, on the 12th floor had a spectacular view to the west and was spotlessly clean. We used up the coffee pods early and housekeeping replenished the supply immediately. Up early, I asked the front desk about viewing the Northern Lights. She showed me pix from this morning and directed me to the app for forecasting when the best viewing times will be. Everything here was perfect. We’ll done Hotel Captain Cook!

We visited in September and the hotel was short staffed and a bit overwhelmed. Back in February I booked two rooms, one accessible and one requesting a view. One room was very nice, quiet and had a nice view. The other was not an accessible room and was next to the elevator, so there were very loud elevator noises ALL NIGHT LONG. I asked for a different room, any without that noise, and was put in one. The reason I was given for not getting an accessible room was computer error or front desk error. Just not acceptable to not get the accessible room
