We had a wonderful stay with Mayra and Garnet in their Ocean suite! This is not a fancy place but very homey and clean! Garnet made such a nice breakfast for us with reindeer sausage and eggs and toast and he told us so many wonderful Alaska stories! The dahlias in Mayra's garden are absolutely gorgeous and the gnome village... More

Though the owners were friendly and welcoming, the home and our room were not what we expected. Basically, the room was very hot with little ventilation, with the exception of a ceiling fan. The room was large filled with stuffed animals and bathroom showed its age. Breakfast was cold and was comprised of left-overs from previous day(s). Breakfast had been... More

We stayed in the bear room. Room was spacious with nice view. Bed was comfy and room decorated cute. Bathroom shower was unusable due to corrosion of shower heads and filthy shower curtain. I opted for sponge Bath instead of using shower. Breakfast was the same every morning with what looked like leftovers from previous morning. Parfait was pretty but... More

We stayed at Moose Garden twice in July. One time at beginning of our holiday and second time at the last day of our holiday. So although we knew it will our last day, we looked forward to the second stay and were welcomed by Garnett with the words: "Welcome home again!" I think, this show as its best, how... More

Came here after a work trip ended and I was tired of the hotel. The hosts are very interesting and entertaining - happy to share their love of Alaska with their guests. The flowers and gardens are beautiful and so peaceful. My room was very spacious along with the huge bathroom and the bed was comfortable. They have a super... More

We stayed at the Moose Gardens Bed and Breakfast on our first stop in Anchorage, Alaska. The home was set in a place-with a beautiful garden-tended to by Marya. Garnett provided us with a different breakfast each morning and each one was tasty. This place was a lovely place to come to after a long day of exploring Anchorage. Thankful... More

We stayed for one night in the Bear Suite back in September 2014 (am a bit late in catching up). The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood close to Kincaid Park with good views of the mountains from the porch. The house itself is something to see and do spend some time talking to Garnett Sr. about it. The... More

We enjoyed our two stays of 4 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The couple owning this place is friendly and eager to make you comfortable and well fed. They are also knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast is over the top. The house is artfully decorated because the owner is an artist. The view is gorgeous and the garden... More

We just spent 2 wonderful nights at Moose Gardens. Owned by a very sweet couple that make you feel at home from the first second you arrive. We stayed in the Ocean room which had a very comfortable king bed and a jacuzzi in the tub. Robes are in the closet. The breakfast were outstanding. Ricotta, walnut french toast with... More

A very nice and beautiful B&B. It is close to all the amenities of a city and still it is a bit remote, well away from street noise. It has a gorgeous garden around the house. The rooms are very large. Every room has its own bathroom. That was really great. The rooms were clean. The freshly prepared breakfasts every... More
