Our hosts were pleasant and helpful. The decor of the place is beautiful. The atmosphere is relaxing. This trip was a much needed rest from our normal routine. The baby had fun there too. I will bring my husband next time.

We loved everything about Highland Glen Lodge. Shelia & Cliff were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome in their home. Cliff is an excellent chef and Shelia made sure the dining table was perfectly set with china for breakfast. Antiques in their home were beautiful - we especially loved Shelia's piano shipped from Scotland. There were many items... More

This was our first stop on our Alaska vacation, and the hosts made us feel like honored guests. The breakfasts were a treat, with an opportunity to visit with other guests while eating well presented, tasty meals. The room was welcoming and comfortable. We could not have been happier.

Not too far from the most popular trailheads, this lovely residence on the South Western part of town is a perfect place to stay for forays into the mountains. The B&B is in a quiet residential area with ample parking in the front. The hosts are very meticulous - the rooms are classy, well stocked, clean and comfortable, the breakfast... More

Lovely spacious room upstairs with king bed. The Stantons serve a gourmet breakfast in an elegant dining room setting, including china, white linen and lightly playing classical music. Upstairs is a large, nice common den with every amenity you could want. No cable television in your room, but there is a DVD. If you want to watch a movie in... More

My mom and I booked the woodlands suite for 5 nights in September. The whole residence was warm and comfortable and the breakfasts were beyond fantastic. Sheila and Cliff were hospitable and happy to help with both information about the area and anything else you might need. During out stay my mom caught a cold and Sheila was great, setting... More

We were there for 1 night in August 2015. The host and hostess were attentive and very knowledgable about the area. Our room #5, was spacious with a fantastic king bed plus a twin. It was obvious that they have done this for years as there is no detail unanswered. All the rooms that I saw were upstairs ( there... More

The place was quite and nice and not too far from the airport. The best part of our stay was the yummy breakfast served by Sheila at the breakfast table in English style. I would definitely recommend this location. We enjoyed our stay here.

Sheila and Cliff were formidable hosts. The B&B is just a short ride from the airport and from the city but still "out in the green". It is a lovely house with a nice and very well tended garden and the owners are warm and welcoming. Nice and cosy rooms, spacious common rooms and the most delicious breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay here. In a very nice neighborhood on a hillside with a pretty view from the terrace. Beautiful landscaping and antiques. Great breakfast...waffles and eggs. Comfortable and clean and sweet host and hostess. There are steps to the bedrooms and they are a little steep. Be cautious.
