My daughter and I have visited twice over the last 3 years, and each time we have had a true home outside downtown. The facilities are clean, comfortable and roomy, Maria makes a wonderful and varied breakfast, and the location is overlooking a beautiful park near UAA. This B&B is the best among the many I have visited over the...

We appreciated that Maria and Robert accommodated our late arrival. The room was quiet and clean. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. And, free Wi-Fi was provided. We anticipated a wonderful breakfast as comments from previous guest extolled that virtue. Maria offered eggs, bacon, or ham with potatoes, yogurt and granola. She also provided orange juice. The breakfast was...

Michael, Thank you for this thoughtful review. We always have toast available. The toaster is in the dining room with bread on a covered plate. Sorry if we may failed to mention that. I recall your question regarding "starch". I did not understand you were asking for toast. Robert Bell

This is the 3rd year in a row we have stayed our last night in Anchorage at the end of our trip. It is awesome to finally find a place that we want to stay our last night in town for our yearly trip. We had a warm welcome, the place is darling with a little creek in the back....

April 30th – May 2nd Shelly and I took a mileage run on Alaska Airlines from Portland OR to Anchorage AK. We found this gem on booking.com for our stay and we’re glad that we did. This bed and breakfast was amazing and priced to compete with the hotels in the area. The Room: We were in room number 2...

I cannot say enough good things about Maria's! The room was beautiful and a great size as were the common areas. The location was perfect for us as we were there for a hospital procedure for our infant son. It's 10 minutes from the airport and 2 to the hospital. It also backed up to a beautiful park, so while...

We had to be in Anchorage for doctor appts and found this beautiful B&B on Hotels.com. Very pleased with the warmth & hospitality of the very gracious hostess Maria & her husband Robert. The room was beautifully appointed as were the common rooms & the dining area. We will return for another stay next time we are in Anchorage.

Made a reservation months earlier. When I called to confirm my reservation for September 1, 2015 I was told the property was closed to the public as it was reserved by a large family. I had a confirmed reservation with Booking.com. Forget booking.com

Our last night in Anchorage was spent at this wonderful B & B which is located within Anchorage. It was easy to find and in close proximity to the park. We checked in last minute since we extended our stay. Maria and Robert welcomed my husband and I into their beautiful home. The property borders Campbell creek and there was...

We stayed there for 2 nights. Maria put additional matress for us. She was very kind and warm-hearted. And the bathroom was so clean. You can feel that she is really taking care of the guests. Unlike hotel, you can guess what the ordinary american home looks like. It is a good experience. I recommend her b&b.

Located on Campbell Creek in Anchorage, Alaska, this property has a "rural" feel to it, with a lovely walking path alongside this creek that winds through Anchorage. If guests have children, they will want to provide close supervision due to the close proximity to the creek. I would have preferred a later breakfast time and possibly a more diverse menu...

Beverly, We appreciate your comments. We normally prepare country potatoes (takes 30 mins) and offer eggs, meat, and toast. We always have pancakes, french toast, granola, oatmeal, and yogurt available. We typically have fruit in season and occasionally prepare fruit and savory crapes. Robert
