We had a wonderful stay at Judy’s Touch of Class B&B kicking off our honeymoon in Anchorage! We’d booked the Rose Room for four nights, but Jim offered us the Nautical Suite at no extra charge because no one was using it at the time. Jim is a fantastic host - amazingly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to his guests. Chatting with him over breakfast every morning was delightful, and he had great recommendations for things to do in Anchorage as well as great stories to tell. I highly recommend Judy’s for anyone looking for a warm and friendly place to stay that feels like home - we feel very grateful to have met Jim and we would definitely stay here again!
I had a couple of not so great Airbnb experiences recently and was not having too higher of expectations before arriving Judy’s touch of class B&B. But that changed from the moment we met Jim, before noon at his driveway, shoveling snow and waiting for us. He is warm and very easy to talk to. He is very knowledgeable with the city and Alaska which he called home after living in Fairbanks and now in Anchorage for many years. His place is not fancy but traditional, clean and cozy. We were kind of in transit on our way to see Aurora in Fairbanks. But before you know it, under Jim’s guidance, we were spending next day and half experienced best of Anchorage from its natural beauty to places to. His tips on how to drive in the cold and snow really helped us for the rest of our Alaska trip. Every evening after dinner, we sat at his dinning table and chatted about everything from how they started this B&B to his two “girlfriends”. We would listen to his stories happened over the years from baby moose in his backyard to 20+ member school team staying at his place. The conversation would had gone on all night long if it were not for the early morning call next day. On the day of us leaving, not only he got up early and had coffee ready for us but also decided to drive along with us to train station. He was so worried about me walking back to station after dropping off our rental car in downtown location. It turned out the walking, down a big hill, under the freezing cold probably was not what I could handle. We were all very moved by his caring and thoughtfulness. We all loved Judy’s touch of class B&B with human touch Jim added.…
Me and my friends was planning on visiting Anchorage for a weekend and had booked a BnB. Unfortunately we lost that booking right before leaving Fairbanks for Anchorage. Luckily we got recommend to go to Jim. It was a pure pleasure to meet Jim and live in his beautiful house. Made us great breakfast and was really helpful when it came to explore Anchorage. We had to leave Anchorage 4:30 in the morning, so Jim prepared breakfast for the road and prepped everything so we could leave for Fairbanks with food and coffee in our bellies. I truly recommend this BnB.
We stayed at Judy's Touch of Class B & B for a week, planning to take day trips to explore the area. Within just a few minutes of meeting Jim, we quickly learned that he is an amazing host due to his incredibly caring hospitality! He is willing to share his knowledge of places to see and things to do in and around Anchorage, as well as a lot of Alaskan history. We followed many of his suggestions, which were great! Jim's B&B is beautiful, clean, and neat. Additionally, Jim's unending kindness is shown thorough the delicious hot breakfast he cooks every morning. We felt perfectly at home and relaxed, and look forward to a return visit!
We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. Jim was so accommodating. He allowed us to use to Nautical suite since it was not booked while we were there even though we had booked the Lavender room. Wonderful breakfasts each morning, ice cream in the evening and he allowed us to use his Washer/Dryer to do our laundry. Would definetly stay again if in the area.
