Jim is the kindest, he made us feel at home from the moment we stepped in. We stayed only on our last night in Anchorage, but would have opted for this over a hotel if we had known about this bnb earlier. The Nautical Suite is a treat with a pool table and a foosball table, and really cozy setup with a queen bed and 2 twin beds. The location is in a very beautiful, serene neighborhood, roughly 10 min from the airport, and also quite close to downtown. Great spot for a stay in Anchorage.
Jim was such an amazing host. We only spent a couple of days in Anchorage and he have some wonderful suggestions on what to do. Took us on a tour around the area, provided a wonderful breakfast in the morning and was always so accommodating. On our last day he even took us up for a plane ride. Love his bed snd breakfast. If you are looking for a host that will go the extra mile, this is the place. Will definitely would stay there again.
Jim was an excellent host! Jim had great recommendations for "must see" attractions / restaurants / hikes in the Anchorage area. His breakfasts were AWESOME: elk sausage, choc chip pancakes, eggs, OJ, coffee, cereals, yogurts, and oatmeal. Jim shared many amazing fun AK stories from the decades that he's been in AK!!
We had a wonderful stay at Judy’s Touch of Class B&B kicking off our honeymoon in Anchorage! We’d booked the Rose Room for four nights, but Jim offered us the Nautical Suite at no extra charge because no one was using it at the time. Jim is a fantastic host - amazingly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to his guests. Chatting with him over breakfast every morning was delightful, and he had great recommendations for things to do in Anchorage as well as great stories to tell. I highly recommend Judy’s for anyone looking for a warm and friendly place to stay that feels like home - we feel very grateful to have met Jim and we would definitely stay here again!
I had a couple of not so great Airbnb experiences recently and was not having too higher of expectations before arriving Judy’s touch of class B&B. But that changed from the moment we met Jim, before noon at his driveway, shoveling snow and waiting for us. He is warm and very easy to talk to. He is very knowledgeable with the city and Alaska which he called home after living in Fairbanks and now in Anchorage for many years. His place is not fancy but traditional, clean and cozy. We were kind of in transit on our way to see Aurora in Fairbanks. But before you know it, under Jim’s guidance, we were spending next day and half experienced best of Anchorage from its natural beauty to places to. His tips on how to drive in the cold and snow really helped us for the rest of our Alaska trip. Every evening after dinner, we sat at his dinning table and chatted about everything from how they started this B&B to his two “girlfriends”. We would listen to his stories happened over the years from baby moose in his backyard to 20+ member school team staying at his place. The conversation would had gone on all night long if it were not for the early morning call next day. On the day of us leaving, not only he got up early and had coffee ready for us but also decided to drive along with us to train station. He was so worried about me walking back to station after dropping off our rental car in downtown location. It turned out the walking, down a big hill, under the freezing cold probably was not what I could handle. We were all very moved by his caring and thoughtfulness. We all loved Judy’s touch of class B&B with human touch Jim added.…
