First, I'll talk about the basics. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Our bathroom was also spotless with plenty of fluffy towels and toiletries. The location was as described and very convenient to the airport as well as downtown with museums and restaurants nearby. In fact we walked downtown several times during our stay. Breakfasts were delicious! Eggs and bacon and toast, or pancakes and reindeer sausage, with fresh fruit and juice every day. There was also lots of cereal to pick from for anyone who preferred it, as well as coffee and tea or cocoa. Next, let's talk about our hosts, Jim and April. Simply stated, they go above and beyond! Jim picked us up from the airport because for our first few days in Alaska we did not have a rental car. (Uber rides are plentiful!) On that drive, we were talking in the car, and he mentioned that the musical Hamilton was ending a run and there were still tickets available for the last performance, which was the next afternoon. The tickets were reasonable, and Jim drove us directly to the box office where we secured our seats! Jim has lived in Alaska for many years, and he is a font of information on so many interesting aspects of the state! During breakfast, and other times, we enjoyed talking and hearing about his beloved state. He also gave us some ideas that helped us plan our itinerary for the rest of our Alaska visit as we ventured into Denali, Fairbanks, Seward, and Homer. We were interested in seeing moose, and one evening, Jim and April drove us to an area that moose seem to love to frequent. We did get to see a moose in that area, too! One afternoon, we were contemplating walking to the grocery, and April overheard and offered to take us! What a lovely offer! We spent three nights at the beginning of our vacation, and enjoyed staying at Judy's Touch of Class so much that we decided to spend an additional night later on in our trip. I recommend it very highly, and if I returned to Alaska, I would love to stay with them again!

I went to Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute for surgery on my eyes. My wife and I stayed at Judy's Touch of Class B&B during my treatment because it was very close to the eye clinic where my surgery would be done. We found the owners to be very kind and helpful to our needs. Our stay was for six nights and a day, which was just right for a low stress experience during a stressful (for me) event. My results with the surgery were excellent and I recommend this B&B to be a very good place to stay for anyone needing to do something similar, or just "kicking back" for a few days in Anchorage.

Jim is the ultimate host. There were so many extra services that he provided. We stayed in the Nautical Suite and it had plenty of room for the two of us to spread out. Jim makes a delicious breakfast, too. I highly recommend staying at Judy’s Touch of Class BandB.

We stayed for a night in July 2023. Jim made us an amazing breakfast (loads of fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, etc) and provided us with bikes and trail maps. He educated us on unique things about Anchorage (it was our first time in Alaska). We felt comfortable and welcome and the place was lovely and clean. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

I can't say enough about Jim and his wife, April, and how much they made us feel like family with our 2 stays at their B & B. The room was comfortable, and bathroom space more than adequate. We really enjoyed breakfast, that Jim would make each morning, with lots of options, and excellent coffee. It was so nice to be able to meet the other guests, and see which part of the workd they were visiting from. We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of our Alaska trip, and 2 nights at the end of our trip. They welcomed us with open arms, were so gracious with their hospitality, and genuine kindness. We highly recommend Judy's Touch of Class, and hope to see them again.

Judy’s Touch of Class B & B was my entry point to Alaska, and I’m so glad it was. The B & B is in the large welcoming family home that Jim built. It offers a range of rooms, each decorated in a warm, comfortable, homely, individual style, including the large Nautical Suite with pool table & lounge / games area, that accommodates 4+. Jim & April are remarkable hosts. Jim, a retired attorney, pilot and long time local, is a gem. He has a genuine passion for meeting new people and hosting guests. With good humour and a smile he generously shared his fountain of knowledge about all things Alaskan in response to our never ending questions and interest in learning. Great conversations on quite diverse topics! Our hosts were very accommodating with unusual requests, and also very helpful with recommendations for places to visit. We valued Jim’s kind offers of airport & train collection/drop-offs. Everything you could want when travelling far from home, and so much more! Highly recommended.

I stayed 3 nights in the Lavender Room and it was a great stay. Jim was a great host and was able to pick me up from the airport as well as drop me off at various locations as his schedule permitted. Coffee and fresh-cut fruit was provided each morning, with additional breakfast foods available on request. The room had a comfortable bed with dark shades and a power strip near the nightstand to charge up several devices. The house had an eat-in kitchen for small groups and a dining room for larger groups, plus multiple living areas. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood while only about a $10 Uber ride from both the midtown and downtown areas. I would definitely stay here again!

We are traveling for a week and staying at different hotels but this was the best accommodation that we had in the entire Alaska (Anchorage) area. The house is in the great neighborhood, Jim was more than helpful to pick us from the airport and City (when no Uber will come). Made hearty breakfast everyday with plenty of options. Gave us a free detour (city tour) where we had our first "bear"y good 🐻 welcome. The beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The entire stay was amazing. As amazing as the Alaskan natural beauty that we come here for. Thank you Jim. I will certainly recommend and stay with you again.

Jim saved us! After horrible experience in a different airbnb, Jim replied to our inquiry around midnight and took us in! Very lovely&quiet and cosy room, with tasteful breakfast before our flight out. Once again, thanks Jim!
