First, I'll talk about the basics. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Our bathroom was also spotless with plenty of fluffy towels and toiletries. The location was as described and very convenient to the airport as well as downtown with museums and restaurants nearby. In fact we walked downtown several times during our stay. Breakfasts were delicious! Eggs and bacon and toast, or pancakes and reindeer sausage, with fresh fruit and juice every day. There was also lots of cereal to pick from for anyone who preferred it, as well as coffee and tea or cocoa. Next, let's talk about our hosts, Jim and April. Simply stated, they go above and beyond! Jim picked us up from the airport because for our first few days in Alaska we did not have a rental car. (Uber rides are plentiful!) On that drive, we were talking in the car, and he mentioned that the musical Hamilton was ending a run and there were still tickets available for the last performance, which was the next afternoon. The tickets were reasonable, and Jim drove us directly to the box office where we secured our seats! Jim has lived in Alaska for many years, and he is a font of information on so many interesting aspects of the state! During breakfast, and other times, we enjoyed talking and hearing about his beloved state. He also gave us some ideas that helped us plan our itinerary for the rest of our Alaska visit as we ventured into Denali, Fairbanks, Seward, and Homer. We were interested in seeing moose, and one evening, Jim and April drove us to an area that moose seem to love to frequent. We did get to see a moose in that area, too! One afternoon, we were contemplating walking to the grocery, and April overheard and offered to take us! What a lovely offer! We spent three nights at the beginning of our vacation, and enjoyed staying at Judy's Touch of Class so much that we decided to spend an additional night later on in our trip. I recommend it very highly, and if I returned to Alaska, I would love to stay with them again!…
