This was a lower cost hotel in the area so we weren't expecting much but were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and upkeep. Very dated rooms, lumpy bed coverings, dirty carpet, worn tub and bathroom fixtures. If you just need a place to sleep, this meets that requirement but proceed with caution.

The hotel is pretty standard, with a good restaurant attached. We were out of downtown, which we prefer, but the neighborhood looked iffy. However, it was a short walk to a big park. We stayed for only one night, on our way the next morning.

painterlea, Thank you for sharing your experience. We like to say we, "are conveniently located on the edge of downtown." Thanks for pointing that out for other travelers. The area surrounding the hotel is mostly residential, but I can assure you the neighborhood (Bootleggers Cove/South Addition) is a very good neighborhood. You can feel comfortable walking around in the evenings. More

Price gouging at its finest. Free shuttle ride was greatly appreciated. Restaurant full of drunk loud people and staff tries to seat you next to them. Room has foul odor and severely outdated appliances, for the price you would think it would be better taken care of. Tourist season in Alaska what do expect? ?

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I am a bit confused as we are a 3 star hotel (3/5) which you also rated us, but your comments seem mostly negative. If you didn't enjoy your stay please do reach out so we can help make you feel like you got an appropriate value. Thanks again, and happy travels. More

Inlet Tower is not fancy but certainly adequate. The staff is friendly but over worked. They don't have enough help at the front desk. The room keys kept deactivating daily. We were not the only ones with this problem. We even made sure to keep the keys separated (different people) and safe away from the cell phone. So this inconvenience... More

We ended up on the 15th floor so our views were nice. The building is old, but well kept. Walking trails, shops, and restaurants near by. We walked around the Westchester lagoon and had a great time. The restaurant in the hotel is good from what my daughter told us, but we never made in there. The weather was nice... More

This hotel was fine to rest our jet lagged bodies after travelling from Australia. While a little old and tired looking in the rooms it is a good price and easily walkable to downtown dining and shops. Our room had a serious plumbing problem which caused the whole toilet to overflow all over the floor. They were quick to clean... More

I don't know how to say how bad this hotel was. Got here at 1AM from flight and was exhausted. The mattresses were wornout and the springs could be felt under body. The leg was broken on one of the beds so the bed was wobbly, the carpet was worn out and had tears in it in the room and... More

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in July. The hotel is located on the very edge of downtown so you need a car to get around. The rooms are old fashioned and really need to be updated. There is only one window that opens in the room, and it won't open more than half way. The room... More

heken, Thank you for sharing your experience. I would say that for anyone who enjoys walking, we are only six blocks from downtown (10 minutes or less) and do offer an airport and rail depot shuttle, so a car is not necessary but can be nice if you want to explore outside downtown. The windows are a life-safety requirement that... More

We stayed here twice, with rooms on the 10th and 12th floors, which both gave great views across Anchorage to the mountains. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant (which we used for both dinner and breakfast) was good. It is located too far from the downtown area to walk, but... More

Extremely nice and helpful staff in all areas. An older building, not updated, but clean. A beautiful view overlooking Cook Inlet. Not close to downtown but since walk this time of year. The restaurant was actually good. We split the large breakfast meal which was tasty. Dinner was good. The internet not so good, especially for streaming. A great price... More
