We were exceptionally pleased with our stay at the Bent Prop Inn. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, however the most impressive aspect was the outstanding hospitality we received from John. He went out of his way to be helpful to us and we really enjoyed chatting with him. I highly recommend this space!

As a travel nurse I have stayed in a range of accommodations for my assignments. I had never stayed at a hostel before and didn’t know what to expect. I ended up spending most of December here. I had originally only booked for a short stay but I liked it so much I extended. The Manager John and other employees Cindy & Ian were very nice and helpful too. The service really surprised me. Very clean and pleasant room and living areas. I was also surprised they had everything I needed and more. They even made a free and very delicious Christmas feast for all their hostel guests. John generously gave me a ride from the airport too. I met so many interesting guests as well. Walmart and public bus service very nearby made getting around and back and forth to work easy and convenient. I would recommend this hostel for location and affordability. But mainly I would recommend it due to the great customer service I experienced.

Great accommodation downtown & midtown. Downtown better for those without a car. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Good price. Top host & staff. Highly recommended unless you need 5 star. The only place we would stay.

It is definitely the best place with the best people I have ever been to. Cindy and John are just great. They do everything to make you feel comfortable and safe. Hostel is placed in a quiet area, few steps from Walmart and a bus stop to Downtown. You can have a choice between cheap hostel rooms and private apartments. I travel a lot and I have stayed at many different places but that small, family Hostel gives you everything what you need after long journey, before flight and during your visit at Anchorage. I fully recommend this place at Eide Street. Cindy&John thank you for everything!

The Bent Prop Inn Hostel was a great place to stay at. My flight got in very early so I asked if I could drop my luggage until check in time. It was no problem at all. The rooms and beds are fine and the common area is very nice with a lot of couches to read a book or hang out. As I was on my way to a fishing trip and didn’t need all the luggage I’d brought, they even let me store the luggage I didn’t need for a whole week until I got back after the trip and stayed at the hostel for another night. Everything was just very easy and pleasant. Not to forget a great location right downtown and around the corner from the bus stop. Thanks!
