We traveled on a Tuesday morning from The Netherlands by car to Normandy. We arrived between 5 and 6 pm. Tonnis and Francis were expecting us and showed us around the house and the property. It was the first time we took all of our three kids (Ages 12, 3 and 0) with us. My wife and I had stayed...

If you get to spend a once-in-a-lifetime week in a beautiful country, it's a gamble if you decide to spend all seven nights in a place you've never visited before. After reading all the stellar reviews about Manoir Les Quatres Etoiles, my husband and I decided to take that risk and it was such a winner of a decision! When...

What can be said about this bed and breakfast that hasn't been said before? First and foremost Francis and Tonnis, the proprietors are fiercely devoted to providing the highest level of service to their cherished guests. Upon arriving one cannot help but be overwhelmed by the beauty of the grounds and meticulously appointed accommodations. You will be warmly greeted by...

Last year we visited Normandy together with some friends. We were so overwhelmed by the cosiness of Manoir Les Quatre Etoiles and the friendliness and generosity of the hosts that we decided to go back this year and again it felt like coming home. This year we stayed in the airy and nicely decorated Van Gogh room with an adjoining...

The picture shown for the Manoir is deceiving. We was expecting something located on an estate and were surprised to find the location to be in the center of a small town surrounded by other buildings. Just a small lawn/garden area behind the parking lot that is highlighted to appear large in the advertising photo. We initially did not find...

Quatre Etoiles is a wonderful property in a lovely, quiet and refreshing part of Normandy. The manoir is a short trip away from Sainte Mere d’Eglise and close by Utah Beach. The farmhouse has been tastefully and beautifully restored, and the grounds provide quiet comfort. Francis is a generous and thoughtful hostess; she was good enough, on very short notice,...

The Manoir is in a beautiful setting with extensive gardens. Rooms are a delight and we were welcomed in a way that made us feel that we could use the house as our own. Breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. As for the dinner cooked by Francis, this was of a very high restaurant standard including excellent...

I wish there were more stars to rate Etoiles! Every review I read that was positive was so accurate. This was our first stop in France, literally. After over 24 hours of travel, it was like stepping into a story book. Our room was perfect, large, with a wonderful shower with multiple shower heads and a jetted tub. There was...

Our stay was the highlight of an extraordinary visit to Normandy. This house, with it's delightful gardens, is a treat. Our room was so comfortable...the meals were out of this world ( both breakfast and dinner),,,the location is in the heart of everything you would want to see. But most of all our hosts, Tonnis and Francesca, are perfect and so...

My father and I traveled from San Francisco to see the Normandy countryside and tour the WWII battlefields/beachfronts. I found Les Quatre Etoiles through TripAdvisor and was NOT disappointed. The home is in a beautiful little village/hamlet just minutes outside Ste. Mere Eglise. We shared the "family suite" upstairs, which is a converted attic - my dad had the "parents"...
