My father and I traveled from San Francisco to see the Normandy countryside and tour the WWII battlefields/beachfronts. I found Les Quatre Etoiles through TripAdvisor and was NOT disappointed. The home is in a beautiful little village/hamlet just minutes outside Ste. Mere Eglise. We shared the "family suite" upstairs, which is a converted attic - my dad had the "parents"... More

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay with Tonnis and Francis in their beautiful home. Tonnis and Francis are very welcoming hosts, happy to share their local knowledge and spend time in conversation with their guests over breakfast or when relaxing in the comfortable sitting room (complete with most impressive drinks table) in the evening. The Manoir is ideally located... More

Six of us, on a D-Day trip, stayed a Manoir Les Quatre Etoiles for six days. Staying at the Manoir was a terrific experience! The setting is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, restful and modern. The hosts, Tonnis and Francis, were most hospitable. I loved the breakfasts and an evening meal! The Manoir is centrally located... More

I helped my father and a friend to arrange a trip to Normandy, found this gem on tripadvisor. My father has been extremly positive since he came back, both the location, the service and the facilities was splendid! I did much of the communication with Tonnis and his wife and they are both super serivice minded and really made sure... More

Had a fantastic time. The Manor is centrally located to all the American D-Day monuments and museums. The grounds are gorgeous. Great for families. Service was personal and excellent. Look no further.

What's not to be impressed with. Stay in a beautifully appointed Manor house..... large bedroom, ultra modern bath, total quiet!! Five minute drive to Saint-Mere-Eglise. We enjoyed three very good breakfasts, 2 dinners which outdid any meals that we had in a three week France/Italy excursion. Proprietors were welcoming, attentive and helpful....taste their own brewed cider. We were happy campers.

I looked online and thought it looked amazing but it was better than I had hoped. I, my parents and my teen children where charmed by this stunning place, the beautiful rooms, delicious dinners and lovely hosts. We felt transported to a different time era. One of grace, luxury and class. Tennis and Francis were so helpful.Sitting in the grand... More

We stayed at the Manoir during March for around ten days. Our hosts, Tonnis and Francis, were very welcoming and friendly. Francis is an absolutely fantastic cook, we chose to eat in several times during our stay because the food was just so good! Tonnis makes a mean breakfast (he cooked bacon & eggs especially for us Brits!) and his... More

Just like a 'chambre d'hote' is supposed to be, from the very first minute the proprietors give you the feeling to be really part of the family. At arrival we were welcomed by a refreshment tea or aperitive. The location is in a very tranquil, characterful, rural setting, which starkly contrasts to the more than heroic events that took place... More

The chateau was very clean, picturesque and French. Our Dutch hosts were very friendly and helpful. They advised us where to eat, sites to see and what to avoid. We would definitely stay there again without hesitation.
