Stayed here to visit the D-Day locations. Excellent hosts, accommodation and food. Breakfast and evening meal were awesome. If like me you are visiting to cover the D-Day history aspect, host Dave has a wealth of information to share with you and helped re-jig the itinerary to squeeze a bit more in to the 2 day visit. Lots of D-Day related memoribilla to look at on the walls etc. D-Day happened above and around this farmhouse so go and soak it up for yourself you won't be disappointed.

We consider it a privilege to have stayed in this beautiful and historic farmhouse. Alyson and David are the most perfect and generous hosts and we felt immediately at home as we were welcomed into their wonderful home. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable with some beautiful finishing touches including hand made soap, lavender bags and locally brewed cider! Use of the terrace and or lounge is also available had we needed this. David is an exceptional chef and both breakfast and dinner (an optional extra and which we highly recommend) quite simply, fabulous. All meals were also beautifully presented with so much variety on offer for breakfast. The farmhouse is perfectly located for visiting all historical sites in Normandy and David kindly helped compile the perfect itinerary for our action packed two day stay. We would highly recommend a stay at The Old Farm of Amfreville. This is truly a hidden gem and we will definitely return to indulge in the warmth and hospitality that Alyson and Dave have so masterfully created. Thank you both very much for such an enjoyable stay.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Old Farm of Amfreville. David and Alyson have a beautiful home, with so much character and history. Including their son Tom, they were fantastic hosts, making you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. We included in our stay the cooking experience, with David taking us to local markets and showing us the local area. We then had a master class on cooking French cuisine with seasonal produce and good quality ingredients, it was a great experience which David made fun, we learned so much from him. We would highly recommend The Old Farm and will certainly return to explore more of the local area.

The farmhouse is a beautiful property with every amenity we could have asked for. The rooms were charming, comfortable, and clean. The owner is a professional chef, so the breakfast (included) and dinner (for an extra fee...and highly recommended!) were incredible. Perfect location to see all of Normandy and DDay historical sites.

This stunning B&B offers great comfort. Alyson & David are brilliant hosts who cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The spacious garden room offers a comfortable bed, coffee & tea making facilities with your own patio area to enjoy the peaceful setting. David's knowledge of the area made our home made itinerary more workable and recommended destinations we had not considered. The breakfast option is continental with a choice of eggs, sliced meats & cheese, cereals and pastries. The B&B offers its customers the option of a evening meal, a four course a la carte, freshly made by David, they also offer a generous picnic, carefully packed in a picnic coolbox. I'd highly recommend this stunning B&B in an ideal location to all D-Day Landing beaches and Normandy historic attractions. The welcome and comfort you will receive, you will not be disappointed.
