We have just returned from our holiday in Europe, which included 3 nights at this gorgeous place and I have to say our stay at The Old Farm was the highlight of our holiday. The attention to detail in every aspect, the warmth yet professional approach by Dave and Alyson, the delicious food for breakfast and gourmet evening meals. This place is truly a gem and if you are planning a trip to Normandy do not hesitate to book in with Dave and Alyson, you won’t be disappointed!

I have known Dave and Alyson for years and watched their project grow into this beautiful Normandy business. However on visiting their establishment words are not enough, to express the warm professional hospitality you recieve on arrival and throughout your stay. Each room is individual and attention to detail is amazing. We decided to order a traditional French picnic, again the standard of food prepared was a credit to Dave. The quantity and quality lasted all day on our trip and beyond. This same flair and standard was represented at both breakfast and during a 5 course meal which many facilities would not provide. Again a credit to Dave and a big thanks to his son Tom for waitering. I could go on and on about this place. However I recommend you visit to experience what we experienced over a 5 day period. We are back again next year to enjoy both the location and surrounding areas that Normandy has to offer. Thanks guys. You worked hard to achieve what is I believe a first class business to reside during any holiday break.

We spent four nights at the Old Farmhouse in Amfreville, and we extremely pleased with the warm welcome and beautiful rooms offered! Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, beds were comfortable and breakfast delicious. There was also plenty of help in deciding which part of the Normandy beaches to visit. We highly recommend staying with David and Alyson!. Sarah and Mervyn, Llandudno, North Wales

If you want a memorable stay in a beautiful historical B&B then this is the place for you. Alyson and Dave pride themselves on providing a home from home with some thoughtful personal touches. We were welcomed on arrival with an English Cream Tea, smiled at the scented homemade soap and giggled after drinking the complimentary bottle of local cider left in the room. Breakfast was a feast with fresh waffles, homemade banana bread and the standout Apple and calvados jam. Dave a chef offers a superb a la Carte menu with locally sourced ingredients and we treated ourselves to one of his -not to be missed- amazing French style picnics. With Alyson’s sunny disposition and their infectious enthusiasm this is not only Sainte-Mère-Église’s but Normandy’s hidden gem.

We had such an amazing stay at this lovely farm based in an ideal setting to go exploring, the farm even had its own story. the rooms were lovely and clean and in an elegant shabby chic style. the breakfast was outstanding with lovely local pastries and bread and was a great start to the day, we did have a picnic basket which was excellent value for money including the evening meals. We will defiantly be returning the host couldn’t do enough for us and made our holiday.
