I made a reservation last minute for a short trip to Normandy. Despite having a minimum two-night policy, Vivian kindly made an exception - and we were so lucky that she did. When we arrived, Rodolphe was able to find us a dinner reservation at a fantastic restaurant in the area. The rooms were clean and orderly. Breakfast in the... More

Vivian and Rodolphe are the best B&B hosts ever. This place is at the center of Airborne History and these guys are the best caretakers the airborne community could ask for. You're at La Fiere Bridge, and I mean at the bridge. Those who know there airborne history know this was a/the center of gravity for airborne forces during the... More

Bonjour Viv & Rodolph, Thank you again so much for the hospitality and the absolutely wonderful time during our visit last week. We cannot thank you enough for helping make our trip to France one of the best experiences we’ve ever shared together. My daughter has not stopped talking about visiting Normandy, seeing the Tour de France, staying at La... More

Vivian and Rodolphe have loving restored a charming mill which in part dates back to the C11th. The rooms are very tastefully furnished with great individual character. The warmest of welcomes, scrumptious breakfasts, and a willingness to go that extra distance to accommodate specific requests with cheerful flexibility. Exceptional!!

B&B a la Bataille de La Fiere is an amazing place. We used the B&B in June for the 72nd D-Day Events and Vivian along with her husband Rodolphe were so welcoming and allowed us to use their awesome outdoor picnic area for a VIP luncheon and were so accommodating to all of our needs.

I did not stay at this B&B overnight, but am rating the hotel based on hospitality provided for a VIP event over D-Day weekend. We could not have asked for more welcoming or helpful hosts in owners Vivian & Rodolphe. They went out of their way to ensure that all of our questions were answered and all of our guests... More

We came to B&B a la Bataille de La Fiere for a weekend exploring the WWII sites. Vivian and Rodolphe were so welcoming and gave us wonderful advice for our visits of Sainte-Mere-Eglise, Pointe du Hoc and the Normandy landing beaches. The B&B was warm and inviting, very clean and well-equipped. The setting by the river and the bridge was... More

Had no idea when we booked this converted barn in the countryside,, what treats were in store for us! An unexpected journey, along with Rodolphe and Vivian, our consummate hosts into the historic days of ww2 and it all happened right where we were staying! As well as being most welcoming and gracious hosts they were a wealth of information... More

We loved our room, - the cozy purple twins - I think the 505th and our friends stayed close by. Admittedly, we were a little afraid of violating the "rules" - the proprietors must have had some bad experiences with truly rude ( NOT the other reviewer!) folks and we also had to hustle to make the 7:30 check in...
