We spent 4 nights here while walking and generally exploring the area and strongly recommend the Auberge as a place both to stay and to eat. The owners, Robert and Philip couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. They both work incredibly hard but would always find time to deal with queries, suggest places to walk or visit or just... We had a lovely week in the Pyrenees and stayed at the auberge with my young family, my parents and my aunt. My parents were returning after an enjoyable stay the previous year with my sister and her family. The location is fantastic - right on the river and great for skimming stones. The terrace was fantastic for those sunny... More

The service was relaxed yet professional. The food was very well presented, and delicious. The menus are intersting and very reasonably priced and the chef came to talk to us personally about his cuisine.I live locally and am pleased to find the new owners are fulfilling the potential of the beautiful setting next to the river.

We live in the area and very much enjoy our visits to this Auberge to eat. The food is excellent and the new owners have expanded the menu and refurbished the restaurant. When we have visitors this place is top of our list to take them. It has good food and an ambiance which both reflect and show case the... More

The restaurant renovation of the Auberge des Deux Rivieres came as a lovely surprise. We had stopped here in the earlier years when the old owners were still in place, which had offered a great view from the terrace in summer but the food had not been outstanding. Philip and Robert, the new owners though did surprise us with excellent... More

Found this place as a second choice when hotel we wanted in Seix was closed - but found the result to be excellent. Run by a Dutch/Belgian couple who have recently taken over this old B&B. It is in a tiny town beside a rushing river (or two), in an ideal location to head out for hikes or sight-seeing in... More

We got there by accident. Too early for checking in, yet we needed a coffee after hicking so we steeped in. One of the owners helped us with some real good coffee ( and its France, yes?) and showed us some rooms - we thought it was too early so we went on We drove more then 45 minutes only to... More

Agree with previous recent reviews along the lines of the effort that the 2 guys are putting into this place; a charming rural location in a beautiful part of the Pyrenees; it will attract the cycling, walking, fishing and canoeing brigade; and as for us it was a handy etap as we wanted an early start to do the Cascade... Unfortunately.... Stayed here in the winter and were charged €10 more per room than the legal posted rate outside because "costs are more in the winter". We were told no twin or family rooms were available despite the place seeming pretty much empty. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy, but not worth the price listed. The food is... More
