I recommend Ile des Pecheurs to families that want to have a great time on vacation including wonderful activities for the kids. I have never taken my children, who are 6 and 12 years old, to a vacation colony before since we have always preferred to rent isolated houses or hotels without community activities. I decided to try out something different and we were all completely surprised.

We stayed at this giant holiday resort consisting of small selfcatering houses for one night and it was like a nightmare from hell. The logding was worned out and shabby but the worst thing was that they putted us in a house with a serious electrical fault. The stove was inpossible to turn off so we contacted the staff so the house wouldn´t burn down. They said that they were aware of the fault a man came and fixed something said that everything was okey and left. After a while we noticed smoke, turned out he hadn´t fixed a thing and the wall and isolation behind the stove was burning. We have two small children who were a sleep on the second floor, hadn´t it been for my husband taking a closer look in the middle of the night we would have been dead now. When we calmy complaint to the manager she had a rude attitude. My husband said that we at least should have a discount, then she throwed 5 euros at his face. I like to warn people about this place. The place is poorly run, the... More
