We were looking for a place near our family in the Wallingford /Phinney area and I found Chelsea Station. Going there exceeded my expectations from viewing on the website. We had a whole apartment to ourselves! at a reasonable off-season price. Historic building (Fred Anhalt artitect) is beautiful and very well kept-up. Wine in the eveining , delicious breakfast and wonderful conversation with host. If you don't need to be downtown this is a great choice. Quiet neighborhood and directly across the street from gardens and South entrance to Woodland Park Zoo.

I don't usually write reviews, but this place is incredible! These beautifully appointed suites have everything you could ask for and more. The spacious layout (1.5 bath, living room, dining area, kitchen) easily accommodates up to 4 overnight guests (queen bed plus queen-sized sofa bed) plus plenty of room to entertain more. Outside there is patio space and furniture, a grill, and hot tub available in warmer weather. Beyond the wonderful accommodations, what makes this place so special is the phenomenal service and attention to every detail. We woke every morning to the delicious aroma of smoked bacon cooking, and a hot, gourmet breakfast featuring distinctive entrees, fresh cut fruit, and juice, delivered to our room each day. One member of our party had a special dietary need that we forgot to notify the innkeeper of when we booked the room. However, our incredibly gifted cook and innkeeper Toni, created a delicious gluten free entree at the last minute--not just an adequate substitute, but a truly delectable meal in itself. She later surprised us with gluten free cookies! Toni went out of her way to ensure that our every need (or want) was met, and she anticipated things before we even had to ask. We felt so spoiled and wanted to take her home with us. The staff's attention to detail is what really sets this place apart from others. From the fresh flowers and Hershey's Kisses on the table and the cozy bathrobes in the closet to every little item you might need in the kitchen (a Nespresso machine, filtered water, all the cookware, glassware, foil, and utensils) to a wifi printer in your suite, all the necessities and niceties from home were there waiting for us. We were repeatedly surprised with every closet or cabinet door we opened. We were so comfortable and pampered during our stay that we never wanted to leave. It felt like home--only better :) The stellar service, exceptional quality, and comfort make the Chelsea Station Inn truly unique--a rare find these days--especially at such a reasonable price (in the off-season, it's an absolute steal!). We frequently visit friends and family in the Seattle area, so we will definitely be staying here again. Even if we didn't have another reason to go, it would be worth the trip just to stay at the Chelsea Station Inn just for a little weekend getaway or special night. I just can't say enough about wonderful our stay was!

There are no negatives, nor even nit-pickings. Breakfasts were hot, fresh, delicious and on time, all thanks to the amazing Toni, who is also the housekeeper. (This place should get a sixth star, just because of Toni!) All the furnishings and amenities are excellent; very comfortable and well chosen. Good hot water and water pressure, even from the rain shower. Very nice bathroom and an equally nice half-bath. (Quick note: it’s a good shower for taller people.) It’s in a nice neighborhood with a big park nearby, good for walking. There are also some nice restaurants within walking distance. (Rock Creek Winery comes to mind.) And if it’s raining in Seattle, what a great place to stay in and get comfortable.

We spent three nights at Chelsea Station and we could literally live there. Wonderful location, fantastic amenities. The kitchen and bathroom were both amazing. Excellent water pressure. Our host, Toni, was wonderful and so cheerful. Our trip was pretty much rained out, but it didn't matter...we wanted to stay in our amazing B&B anyway. We can't wait to stay here again.

WOW! The photo's do not due justice to the space and richness of all amenities, quality & excellent service. We had the BEST time for a quick stay in the city...actually came back early to our Chelsea apartment to enjoy all the comforts of home. Above and beyond for being in a big city we felt as if we were back in Europe. Thank you for our lil get away!! Romantic, cozy comforts of home, welcoming, truly OUTSTANDING GEM of Seattle!!!!
