We decided to go see Seattle for the first time. We made reservations through expedia and chose a nice king size room. When we get there, we are expected to leave a credit card with the front desk. No where did we see any policy where this was mentioned because we looked ahead of time. As a foreign visiter to the US, we do not have a US credit card. Our credit card doesn’t have our name. I tried to compromise by offering $100 cash and my credit card to hold but they refused. Now, a friend has to drive an hour to drop off a credit card and I don’t even know if that will work. Now they’re saying “go find a different hotel”. This is a terrible way to treat your visitors just wanting to get away for the weekend. In times like these, a little flexibility would have been nice. I do not recommend this hotel since obviously even their front desk thinks other hotels are more European friendly. They are bias against people not from here obviously.

Front desk lied to my face saying they wouldn’t switch me rooms before I even moved all my belongings into the room. As soon as we arrived to the room we could hear the TV ridiculously loud. Called after wards to switch rooms and lied saying no more left despite more available online. Worst hotel experience ever. Still waiting to hear from manger or from there email listed on the website.. Friday August 14th 2020

I stayed here a couple nights while in Seattle. It was only a couple minute walk from some of the tourist attractions of Seattle, such as the Space Needle, Museum of Pop Culture and Pacific Science Center. If you're hungry, it has a number of restaurants nearby also including a McDonalds around the corner from it. The room was clean and everything worked well. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was pleasant.

Absolutely appalling how they treat their guests especially Lionel at the front desk. My brother arrived after a long haul flight from Europe ready to check in having made the booking reservation and prepaid for the stay months ago. When it came to the accepting the damage deposit they humiliated him when they realized he didn’t bring his credit card (he brought plenty of cash n travellers multi currency credit card which that hotel didn’t accept). They refused to let him use the desk phone to call his family And then refused to accept anyone else’s credit card and ID instead and left him helpless in the lobby. They showed no respect, compassion or professionalism when dealing with him. They are a disgrace to the hotel and tourism industry of Seattle. Neither he nor any of my friends and family will ever stay in this hotel ever again this.
