My family and I were woken up early every morning to the sound of hammers banging on metal. It wouldve been nice to sleep in on vacation, considering I wake up early for work year round. Room keys got deactivated before check out, and my family was locked out. That was a nice inconvenience. The breakfast was great, and the location was great.

Once again I have returned to the Best Western Pioneer Square Hotel for a weekend family trip for Supercross. Having stayed here many times before, you know it is a good place that I keep returning. Located in the a little in the South of the Seattle’s downtown core, it is easy walking distance to anywhere you need/want to get. The waterfront and shops is located steps out the door. T-Park Field (Mariners) and CenturyLink Field (Sea Hawks) are located about 10 minutes away. Shopping can be accessed by walking 10-20 minutes or catching transit. Underground Tours, and many others points of interest abound the location as well. Small eateries line the streets from local restaurants to chains. It’s easy to find whatever you want from this location. The hotel itself is a historic building featuring 4 floors of rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable with good, clean linens. A daily morning breakfast is included featuring a wide range of offerings for all the family members. Breakfast sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, fruits, bread and bagels, waffles, cereal and yogurt are topped off with coffee and juices. A definite plus! Staff are friendly and accommodating. They’ll even grabbed flavoured coffee creamers from the (in the afternoon and evening) closed kitchen for use in your rooms. If I’m coming to Seattle for an event, this is where I always stay.

Wow, thank you so much for an excellent and an in-depth review. Our future guests would definitely find this very useful. But at the end of the day, we are simply glad that guests like you find yourself at home with us. Our staff work very hard to provide you with the best service we can offer. Please come back anytime!

Fabulous location (though rife with homeless and panhandlers - perhaps all of Seattle is) and pretty comfortable beds and rooms but the hotel is aging and could use fresh carpets and paint. The continental breakfast is ok though the eating area is small and its hard to get a place to sit down. Staff is pleasant.

Staying at this hotel was quick and convenient. The staff was friendly. They had a toothbrush for my friend who forgot theirs. Checking in and out was simple. The breakfast offerings were better than other places I've stayed at. They had a waffle maker! I just grabbed a yogurt, boiled eggs, and juice. There's vending machines on every floor by the elevators. Unfortunately I was woken up at 7am by some transients yelling at each other outside. For those looking at staying here, be aware that there are plenty of transients on the streets nearby. The ones during my stay left me alone and seemed harmless, but there was definitely a urine smell and lots of cigarette smoke to walk through.

Stayed two nights at this great location. Withing walking distance to light rail and Amtrak stations, waterfront, and is a stop for the free shuttle that takes you to the Space Needle, Seattle Center museums, Aquarium, Pikes Market. The staff was welcoming and got us right into our room even though we were early for check in. Breakfast was good and the hotel was clean and comfortable. There is construction next door during the day. Would stay again because it was so convenient.
