Super funky and loved it. The funk starts with the portraits in the foyer then continues in your room. The room was wonderful including the pillow with Robert Downey Jnr on it but then you step into the bathroom and there is a full on claw foot tub, wow!

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed here for one night after staying at the International Hostel at the American Hotel for four others. The location of the hotel is great. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel lobby, elevators and hallways were clean. My room was lovely, with a big bathroom (big tub and shower) and a big comfy, king size bed for one. The linens and pillows were very comfortable and of good quality. I had plans right after check-in and I didn't return to my room until 1 am and had to be up at 4:30 for a 5 am pick up to SeaTac so it wasn't worth it for me to spend that much for the hotel and I should have stayed in the hostel for the fifth night. I would have liked to enjoy more of the room that I paid for. I learned a good lesson - now I consider how much time I will be spending in the room vs not, the cost and if it's worth it or not. Overall, I would recommend staying here for more than 4 hours.

We just finished a four night stay at the Kimpton Palladian. It was our first trip to Seattle and we wanted to be close to sightseeing, bars, and restaurants. Location: This was a perfect location. We took the train from the airport and it was a quick walk to the hotel. We were within blocks of the Pike Place Market, Belltown bars and restaurants, and only about a 15 minute walk from the Chihuly Museum, Olympic Sculpture Park, and other sites. Cleaning: Some of the reviews mentioned that rooms weren't being cleaned each day, but it has resumed. Our room was cleaned each day. Silly add-on fees: They do a dumb thing where they tack on a $22 fee each day and you get only $10 of that back as credit for the bodega or bar. I wish they would get rid of it, it made no sense. Sign up for a free IHG hotel account and they will give you the wi-fi password for free. Service: Everyone was so nice and helpful. We got exceptional service from the front desk, valet, cleaning crew, and the PennyRoyal bar.

Owen & Chris made the stay at this hotel! A+++++ service. Thank you for accommodating the teen and making it enjoyable for me as well. We enjoyed the room, the restaurant and the bar. To top it off the location is perfect for Pikes Place Market.

Room was pretty big compared to other places I've stayed. the bed was comfortable. Large closet with a fridge. The room was perfectly clean when we arrived and housekeeping were in daily. Bathroom was nice, the shower had great pressure but I'm not a fan of the half glass wall as it tends to let a lot of water past onto the floor. The barn door on the bathroom looked good but leaves about a 1/2" gap when fully closed and also had no lock. The staff were welcoming and courteous. Check in and check out went very smoothly. The bar and restaurant were quite pricey but still pretty good. I loved the aesthetic of the bar in particular.

I chose this hotel because it is directly across from the Moore Theater where I was attending a concert. When I arrived at the hotel to check in I was told that my room was not ready. I was surprised and the clerk responded with "Well check in isn't until 3 pm". I asked what time it was now - clerk " 2:56 pm". Seriously? He stated that they could check my bag and I would be free to roam around until my room was ready. I told him no I had places to be and needed to wait until my room was ready. I then asked if someone could park my car while I waiting since there was no one at the valet when I pulled in. About this time a woman walked up behind him, clicked a few keys on the computer, and said "her room is ready". Wow...how did that happen?? She took the info for my car and gave me a claim check. I got the keys and went up to my room. The halls are really dark with dark brown wallpaper and carpeting and they smelled. My room wasn't much better - it felt like a little cell. Tiny windows and dim lighting. No way could I have put on makeup in that bathroom with the dim lighting Even the makeup mirror was dim. Many channels on the tv gave the message "weak or no signal". I had hoped to get something to eat from the bar after I returned from the concert at 10 pm. Even though the website states the bar is open until 11 pm it was completely closed. When I went to check out the clerk said "I understand we need to check your bags for you" I told him no I was checking out and they didn't need to hold my bags. He said "what about the other person in your room?" I told him there was no other person - just me. He said "but the reservation was for two people". I told him it may have been a AAA error since that is where I made the reservation because I was the only one in the room. He said "this is room 712?" I said yes. I couldn't believe he was still arguing about it. All in all not a pleasant stay.

The hotel's aesthetic was cool and the rooms were really nice. It was pretty pricey but unfortunately that's typical for the area. Hotel has some cool perks like a wine hour that make it a good option compared to other nearby hotels. Special shoutout to Oliver who was super friendly and made our stay extra memorable thanks to a super engaging conversation

This place is a scam as 4+ star rating is FAKE. To top it off, they employees, like Chris, who claim to be "in-charge" or managers but wouldn't give up until making the experience even worse for the guests. Its tiny, hole in the wall, and dirty hotel. I WOULDN'T STAY HERE AGAIN AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE, for 2 reasons. #1, The managers, like Chris, who would insult the customers. They dont understand their own job, responsibilities, would blame customers, and wouldn't miss a chance to insult them publicly. #2 The hotel has been renovated with new paint and paintings, however, the building is old (which is fine), dingy, and smelly. The rooms are way smaller thank shown in pictures, overpriced, and A/C doesnt work. A/C cuts off at 75F.
