I stayed here on a work trip and had a great time. The room setup is good and everything was very clean. I did have to ask for the yoga mat though - as my room was missing one. And I had to ask three times to get a coffee machine in my room, and then when I did get it, house keeping didn't refill the cups or the tea/coffee pods. Loved the toiletries and the bar and restaurant were delicious. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Hi deliah_wilson - Appreciate the feedback. I'm sorry we clearly dropped the ball on a few items, especially the coffee as no morning is fun without the daily cup of joe. The good news is we can easily correct these items and have been working with the team to ensure all requests are answered timely. We do have one of the best bars and one of the best restaurants in town (Shaker + Spear & PennyRoyal). TripAdvisor will back me up on that too! Hope to have you back with us soon with an emphasis on having that coffee ready. Thanks, Pete

OakIslandTickleMe - What an awesome occasion you were here for and thank you for choosing our hotel to stay at! 50 year college reunion is so impressive and nothing to sneeze at. Glad we could assist with the right mix of sleeping arrangements, tasty food, and unreal cocktails. Bring the family for the next trip! Pete

My partner and I were flying from Indianapolis to visit my nephew, who has a great job with Amazon. He said "I would suggest this hotel because you can walk to so many great places so quickly...and people really like it." So we stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed just about everything - clean room, unique decor - friendly staff - and nice wine receptions in the evening. Interesting how they put the really big TV on something like an artist's stand. And just minutes to the market, museums, restaurants, etc. Small negatives: poor exterior signage makes the hotel hard to find especially in the dark. Our GPS kept saying it was ahead on the left - and we didn't see it. And NO, the silly "barn door" to the bathroom does not stop the sounds or odors very well. In fact ours did not fit precisely with the doorway, so there was an open gap at either the top right or lower left...one or the other. But now that we can find the place, we'll stay there again next time.

Dan G - Thanks for the wonderful review. I'll be sure to send your nephew his commission check in the mail! And I agree, our location simply can't be beat. The ease of access to the best attractions in the city is amazing. We are actually working on some very cool new signage to address the issue you encountered as well. With any luck it will be visible on your next trip! Pete

Perfect location. Perhaps the friendliest and most efficient staff I've experienced. Brandon at the front desk and Ali our wine bar host super friendly & and went out of there way to be helpful. Kimpton bonuses: free bikes, yoga mats in every room. Palladian specific bonus: Molly, the house dog. Smaller rooms, but efficiently & tastefully designed. Will stay here next visit to Seattle; highly recommended.

Michael B - What an amazing review to read. I think this might actually be Molly's first shout out too! We'll send a couple extra treats her way today. You must be a Kimpton vet too given your knowledge of the amenities we have, love it! Hopefully that next visit is soon. Pete

I was lucky to have the opportunity to check-in early. The art in the lobby is quite interesting. At first I thought the subject of the first painting I noticed near the front desk was someone who looked like Kelsey Grammar. The front desk person informed me it was indeed Grammar depicted in the piece which seemed to be a time period way before he was born. Then I noticed paintings of Bill Gates and Jimi Hendrix. Once I entered my room and it’s interesting that my extra room card acts as conduit to startup lighting and electricity. What I didn’t like was a pillow on my bed with a picture of the late actor Michael Clarke Duncan. Granted I really liked the actor, however I’m not a fan of using a pillow with his mug on it. The same with Gates, Grammar & Hendrix. I subsequently informed the front desk I wanted the pillow removed and it was done immediately. The hotel texted me more than a few times in the process and I felt very welcomed as a guest. It’s those touches that make me want to return. There’s a resort fee of $25.43. Some of the amenities are free WiFi, coffee & tea in the morning, a $10 dining credit at Shaker + Spear, the restaurant connected to the hotel. Unfortunately, I didn’t make the opportunity to use my dining credit. Also bikes are provided gratis with helmets. The Wall Street Journal, The USA Today & Seattle Times. Oh, and fruit at the front desk. Apples in my case. I didn’t make the cocktail hour. I’m sorry I missed it. I just stayed one night and my deposit fee was $75. When I checked out, my deposit less the resort fee was immediately put back into my account. I used a debit card. The night earlier, I spent the night at a nearby hotel in which I won’t name that held my deposit for three days after I checked out. They said it was the discretion of my bank, which is false info. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Palladian. I wish I could have taken advantage of more of the amenities. I will return if I find a good rate.
