Had an amazing stay at Hotel Ballard. Beautiful hotel, great location! Offered us a complimentary entry to the gym/spa next door. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location for seeing a show at the Tractor Tavern! Clean room, friendly staff.
We paid to stay on the roof and are so glad we did! There was a big wedding that night but the sound protection was pretty decent and they had great music so we just enjoyed it by the fireplace and the barn blocked the noise allowing our kids to sleep. The kids liked watching things get setup and taken down from our front balcony area. The views on Sunday morning looking down at the market as it was being setup was so fun! Stayed here 6 years ago and was so happy to be back & loved it even more this time:)
I had stayed at this hotel about three years ago. It was great back then! Very clean and luxurious. Unfortunately, upon my return I noticed that the management had changed. And not for the better. It is far worse now. Not nearly as clean. The most distressing thing though, was that they stole from me. I had the do not disturb sign on, but the maid staff entered my room anyways. They stole my jewelry. And I mean this was some expensive jewelry. I collect jewelry and I had rare pieces from Tiffany’s etc. I am currently retaining an attorney and I am going to force them to pay me back. I mean these people cleaned me out. They literally stole every piece of jewelry that was in my suitcase. When I reported it to the manager she was totally unconcerned. She just said oh I’m sorry. I’m tired of people saying I’m sorry and doing nothing to rectify the situation. Stealing is unacceptable and they will be punished for it…
The rooms were wonderful. The bed was comfortable, room extremally clean and quiet. The service was excellent. The check-in and check-out were seamless. The employees were helpful in recommending resturants. The hotel is within walking distance to shops, resturants, coffee shopts, etc.
This was our second stay at the Hotel Ballard, the first time was in 2019. There have been some changes in Ballard since our last stay. The street is now one lane with outdoor dining venues for all the restaurants. The hotel is still wonderful. Great coffee in the lobby in the morning. Olympic gym is huge and beautiful, with all the work out equipment you need. We stayed in a standard king facing Ballard Street, very little street noise. Room is large and comfortable. Parking for smaller cars is in the underground garage, had to park on level 2 or 3 so we could open the hatch on our car. Try Salmon Bay Cafe for breakfast, right around the corner. Some homeless have found Ballard a nice place to live.
Hotel Ballard is a boutique hotel in the trendy Ballard neighborhood. We stayed in a courtyard suite which is really convenient for families. There are separate sitting areas both inside and outside. The hotel offers passes to the Olympic Gym next door. Parking is in a private lot at the rear of the hotel. A lovely restaurant called Stoneburner is inside the hotel. Caution: Ballard is probably 25 minutes from downtown Seattle where Amazon and the sports teams are located. Yet, Ballard is the up and coming trendy neighborhood in Seattle. Very close to the well known Ballard Locks.
This is my second time staying at Hotel Ballard and I opted for a luxury suite this time. I was on the second floor facing Ballard Ave. I did hear some noise (arrived on St Patty's day and bagpipes walked down the street) but overall everything died down in the evening. The room itself was well appointed - large oversized bathroom and it was nice to have a second room for when I needed to work. The desk overlooks a beautiful window onto the street. On this trip I took advantage of the Spa that is inside the hotel (although run by a different company, Olympic Spa). This was on the same floor that I was staying on so couldn't be more convenient. This will continue to be my go to hotel for luxuriousness of the rooms and walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops in Seattle. The hotel staff is also very friendly. Note that they are no longer delivering breakfast from your room from a local shop as the shop they previously worked with has closed due to the pandemic.…
The service here was amazing and the rooms are gorgeous!! The location is around a ton of shops and bars. There's a farmers market also. Quaint little area with a cute balcony to watch all the people. Every time we called down for something it was up in less than a minute. Thats crazy!
Highly recommend! Beautiful boutique hotel. Cute neighborhood and lots of restaurants and breweries. Park your car and you can walk all weekend, from shops to dining to gelato! We had a suite on the top floor. It was beautiful! Love the large soaking tub, fire place, and huge bed with soft linens. We celebrated our 30th anniversary and they went out of their way to make us feel special and welcome, nice job to all the staff at Hotel Ballard, we will be back.
I lived in Seattle for 3 years and this was my first trip back. What I love about this hotel is it's convenient location right on Ballard Ave, close to great restaurants, coffee shops, the local movie theater, etc. It's rare to find a hotel in Seattle that is in an actual neighborhood, and not downtown near all of the corporate buildings. The staff here is wonderful, very helpful for anything that popped up and definitely felt like they were invested in their customers. The bedding was luxurious and love having nice bath products in the shower. I stayed for 3 nights so parking underneath the hotel was included (also rare for a Seattle hotel). There was an option to get breakfast delivered in the morning which I really appreciated and took advantage of. The rooftop view is incredible - highly recommend getting a glass of wine and watching the sunset from up there.…
