Very charming but could’ve been a little bit cleaner. When we asked for a maid service we were told they were not doing that due to Covid. Too bad. The most important thing, though, is that they treated us with respect which doesn’t happen everywhere, as we are people of color
We used to frequent the Ballard Inn when our daughter lived in Seattle. The Inn's price point is perfect for what you get. The property is clean and all the shared areas are inspected throughout the day. We never had any issues with the shared bathrooms. Great coffee and we love that they offer newspapers in the morning. Access to the OAC next door is a great perk. We prefer the 2nd floor rooms but the 1st floor is fine on quiet evenings. We will be looking for an excuse to stay again soon!
Had a really enjoyable stay with friends over New Years. The rooms were comfortable. The hotel was in a great location. Best of all the staff was really flexible when members of our group had to cancel at the last minute due to a health emergency and cancelled flight.
This charming hotel was convenient and easy to get to if you are catching a plane the next day. It is on a nice street with cute restaurants and some shops. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is parking close by for 15.00 through the hotel. Reasonably priced.
I haven't read any of the reviews prior to posting mine but I would imagine some might mention the noise outside as a negative. I would say the noise comes with the territory. If you want to stay in the thick of Ballard in a historic building then you might have to experience a little noise. There's a lot going on in this area; shops, restaraunts, pubs and people walking around everywhere. Just what we hoped for and just what we got. The Inn itself has a very friendly staff who are most accommodating, the rooms are nice and clean, and the shared bathrooms are maintained very well. We were a little concerned about the shared bathrooms but at the end of the day they were more than adequate and met our needs perfectly. We thought the pricing was very much in line and we couldn't have asked to be better located for our short visit to Ballard. Apparently you can park in the street if you feel lucky, however we decided to park in a dedicated parking garage for $15 per night. Although we didn't take advantage of the free access to the fitness club next door, next time we'll be more prepared by bringing the proper attire. I would definitely stay at the Ballard Inn next time I visit Seattle Ballard.…
